Bazooka Joe
Best laugh was that bloke standing outside the pub having a beer getting interviewed by Sky, he though Eugene was a bloke....
JohnfromUK
Since we are apparently spending £2M a year on protecting this wretch https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6274439/Taxpayers-fund-2million-year-bill-protect-Islamist-hate-preacher-Anjem-Choudary.html, I think the Royal Family are a much better place to spend the money. Because you can pretty much guarantee that if the monarchy was scrapped and we had an elected head of state Blair would crawl straight out from under his rock and try to be elected. 100% I thought the wedding was excellent and I wish them every happiness. Our Queen and the Duke have been stalwarts through all sorts of traumas and far better than any President even President Trump. The thought of president Blair gives me the heebie geebies..that the likes of Corbyn could be elected such...UGGGHHHH!!! cannot even contemplate it It just shows what a thoughtfull person the Queen is when she declined to go into the Chapel by the front entrance and slipped in via a side entrance as she said she did not want to overshadow the day for the young couple. The royal family costs 43 million a year. I'll let you do the maths. If thats the case why did the tax payer pay for security for the toe suckers kids wedding ?. i'm afraid i have no respect for the royals after Diana

In the case of this wedding she is 9th in line to the throne and the whole event was a massive security/safety issue, primarily for the PUBLIC. If the police etc had not supplied security and some nutter decided to blow up half of Windsor and loads of people, there would be plenty complaining we SHOULD have mounted a big security campaign! They generate 300 million which in return goes to the state on the understanding the state looks after them. So what if security cost 2 million are you really going to turn down 250 million a year on a matter of principle.
Bigbob
Aye paying into that lot should be like the transplant list you should be able to opt out . Okay you got Liz and a spare but why the rest of the tribe and Andy wanted protection for his kids paided from the public purse ?. Edward could of just gave him some tips on unarmed combat from the month he spent in the Army he must of been in a few wars when you see all the medals hes got on his chest at any award ceremony ?. So how about, no taxes whatsoever spent on the royal family, we return the crown estate to them and they keep all profits and they fund themselves. Would that make you feel any better. Bigbob
Aye thats a great idea , im no happy about paying for security etc when they have so much them selves , old buck palace would certainly ease the homeless situation in London if they filled all the bedrooms with homeless folk , How many marriages last when there married into the Institution anyway we ( the public purse ) could end up paying 2 , 3 times for the same thing when that in my view could be money better spent helping the less fortunate

It all falls over when you run out of other peoples money to spend.
