SNAKEBITE
Has anyone seen that "shaving oil"? I bought some yesterday and I cannot believe the difference it makes. No razorburn and a chin as smooth as a babies bum. I can't believe I hadn't come across it before
BSA Shaun
Never seen it mate, always use the gel as don't get on with foam, have to try it. And mate you need to leave the babies bums alone
SNAKEBITE
You can use the oil on it's own or under a foam/gel. It makes the razor glide across the skin with ease, no razor burn and a closer shave. It also claims to be a good pre treatment for electric shavers as well. Comes in a tiny bottle with enough in it for 100 shaves, it is obviously meant to be used sparingly!

JohnGalway
I use TOTAL shaving solution (oil would've been shorter, guess it's a marketing thing...). Been using it for years now, made in Mayo in Ireland. Think I'd be reduced to tears if I had to go back to gel/foam I cannot describe how much better this stuff is compared to gel/foam. Fer gawds sake, are we still ashamed to say that only girlie types use aftershave , and that if you took more than one pair of underpants on a fortnights holiday then this was wasting packing space for the cans of beer ?? webber
I may just ask the soup dragon to look out for some the next time she goes shopping. Staying on the shaving note, may I proffer a helpfull tip. When your can of foam or gel is getting empty, you can ensure that you get the dregs out of the can, and salvage a few more shaves. The procedure is simple, just place the can in the sink whilst you run the hot water, thus gently heating up the can. The science is that the heat increases the pressure in the can, therefore enabling the remaining contents to be expelled. webber
