McNab 3.5" over unders

These are the lowlanders that I believe are the lower range of gun made originally for Patrick Keene. If you want 3.5 inch I think that is your only choice. I understand the Lowlander was made by Sabatti. Being cheaper and lower grade I would expect the quality to be lower but I am no gunsmith. I would say price is the indicator here.

have both 12 and 28 gauge in the highlander side plate and both are good quality reliable guns, they handle well. I rarely use the 12, which is 3”, so would probably sell. I consider the highlander great value as, made by B Rizzini, they are a fraction of the price of their own branded guns.

Hope this helps

As Dave at Kelton above said, the Lowlander was made by Sabatti. The higher grade Highlander was made by B.Rizzini, the better of the Rizzini clan and is a high quality gun, but only made with up to 3 inch chambers. So as said, if 3 1/2 inch chambers are what you need, then only the Lowlander from the Macnab range would fit the bill.

I can fully recommend the Highlanders having had both sideplated and ordinary boxlocks in 20g and currently used my Highlander for most of my shooting, but sorry cannot comment on Sabatti.

Just get a cheap Bettinsoli like mine, Matt. You seemed to get on alright with it before.

I'm just weighing up the options at the moment while I wait for some guns to sell, having a major clear out before I purchase anything.

The new yildiz looks good but not handled one yet
