watto69
Hi. I went yesterday. It was ok, not as busy as last year (also went on a Friday). Noticed a number of stall holders missing from previous years, when talking to one stall holder, he said it was due to the extortionate cost of renting the space. Still an enjoyable day out for £18 and I’ll no doubt be back next year. But I’d still prefer Stoneleigh over the NEC. Edited February 16, 2019 by watto69
countryman
Yes Stoneleigh was much better, not going this year as we were herded in like cattle last year.
watto69
I remember that last year and was expecting the same yesterday, but it was not as busy. We prebooked our tickets and walked straight in, arriving about 9:15Â
Farmboy91
Yeah I had heard the stalls were expensive too, we went last year and had a good time, didn't come away with much but always nice to see the guns I can't afford haha

Lord Geordie
But like my trip home from York yesterday then mike! Stuck waiting and loads of trains delayed and cancelled as someone had been struck by a train. There was nothing in the news yesterday but hope they were alright!

Archie-fox
Just walked in from the show, saw the usual faces, ordered another emberleaf knife when the Mrs was tasting gin, tried to speak to a few people at Gmk about a Sako but was just blanked.. same old people dressed from head to toe in cammo, would I go again?? Doubt it.. couldn’t walk in there at midday and the temp was rising!!! Guess I’ll be heading to my usual dealers for my new rifle..

I dont think I'll bother again, don't get me wrong I enjoyed having a wander but I can't say many stalls bothered to come over and have a chat , maybe I just don't look like the type who's going to spend. Shame really as there was a few sxs that took my fancy.
