Harry136
Hi I own a 2007 Renault Clio Mk3 1.4 petrol. I keep on getting warning lights and messages check emissions and check injection coming on intermittantly. I have changed the intake air sensor and that seemed to cure the problem for a couple of days. Any thoughts on what might be causing it? GingerCat
When was it last serviced?
TIGHTCHOKE
It needs a trip to the garage with a computer plug in and download.
Harry136
Early last month, oil change, oil filter change and air filter change. Can't be a coincidence that these faults started a couple of weeks after it was serviced!
welsh1
Have you given it a good blast for a few miles, modern cars don't like to toddle round town.
Harry136
Yeah its had a good blast, even treated it to some super unleaded and some redex!
Jason_ox
Could be any number of things but first it needs to be hooked up to a diagnostic machine and fault codes read. Lambda, injectors, coil pack, spark plugs etc on modern cars you cannot diagnose much without reading the fault codes.

It's a 12 year old car. Things fail. Whether or not the car is properly maintained.

I would wager it will cost a few £££'s though.
Harry136
Been to the garage, turns out injector number 3 is playing up. I'm reasonably technical and service the car myself, so i'm hoping the job isn't too difficult! If anyone has any experience, I'd appreciate hearing about it. db135
Sounds like a lambda sensor fault there's two one before the cat and one after changed them before on them for intermittent rough running and warning lights
