As she said, she has been going there for years and felt they were just taking the micky. There are a lot of people in that position, including a lot of their customers who can't just put their prices up whenever they feel like it. Whats wrong with putting in a few more hours?. Yes my Mrs and Daughter went on Tuesday. Daughters went up from £25 to £35 as they are not discounting for students. My wife’s was £135. I have no idea what she had done for that. It is a conditioned response in me now.

JohnfromUK
Booked mine today - £13. I believe it was £10 pre Covid, but website says that they only do 2 per hour now (per barber), whereas they used to do 3 each per hour. Useful as they have their own parking (otherwise it is another £1 for car park).
Fisheruk
Had mine done after I had been out on the squirrels. Still £5, made her take a £10 tip. Been the same price for 15 years, lovely lass too 👍
eddoakley
25 years of shaving my own head with only the occassional visit to a barber if I was short of time or happened to be passing and realise that I looked like a warn tennis ball. I don't begrudge them putting up prices as the new rules will slow down how many cuts they can do in a day and also the new measures will have cost them to put in place. As others have said I wish I could put my prices up. Edd
Gu5
Ok, so they can now cut less hair per hour, but didn’t they also recently get a years‘ rates relief? 🤔

In that time they also have to prepare their premises and spend a load more on consumables for hygiene products at a vastly inflated rate. I've been lucky in my businesses that either the support that was available has helped or there wasn't too much of an issue anyway but it's tougher for some. Edd I paid eleven quid for mine after fourteen weeks I would have paid double.
