JohnfromUK
I have a couple - one near identical to yours - that were my father's. I have always assumed they were 1960s. The downside is that the springs are VERY strong making them difficult to open.

arjimlad
Springs for when men were men, and when locking knives were less common ! Lovely quality steel on those. My son is using a similar Rogers folder which my Dad and I both used as boys.

figgy
Finger nail rippers, strong springs are great when open and using. Hard to open and nearly loose a finger if they snap shut on you. Lovely lambsfoot knives.

He found them too hard to open. He actually used (multiple times a day) a rather 'cheap and cheerful' knife with no spring and the blade extending out beyond the hinge to form a sort of 'lump' by which you could open it with one hand. I still have that one as well. Image added - It is by Albert Oates (detailed pic is from the internet as mine is barely legible). Fairly basic with hard plastic body (no steel frame), but good quality steel blade. Apparently "Current" was a trademark of Albert Oates.
