Wookie
Bagsy, good call on the original version of Assault on Precinct 13. The remake was utter ****e. I made the mistake of watching that when it came out on video and was really disappointed. For something a bit different, you could try District 13. Not much in the way of a plot, but worth it for the stunts and the parcour scenes. Let me see... Other classics on my top ten... Akira (but good as the film is, the original books are way the hell better), the Seven Samurai (and, surprisingly, The Magnificent Seven), Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away. I've always liked manga and the last two are great for both kids and adults alike. Platoon always gets a vote too... Cracking film.
