Cranfield
Do not agree to purchase an item on here, if you are unable to complete the purchase. Its not necessary and is very annoying to the members selling the items, when they are messed about by time wasters.
steve_b_wales
I asked Cranfield to mention this on PW, as I was the latest one messed about by a PW member who ' promised ' that the cheque was in the post etc etc etc, only to not send the cheque or have the DECENCY to say that the item was no longer required. Perhaps I should name him, then others will know not to have dealings with him in the future. What do you think, what would you do.

ROBLATCH
Iwill name myself (ROBLATCH) and also state found cheaper elsewhere and canceled cheque.cant see a problem with that. we all like a bargain.if every so called timewaster had to be named for not purchasing an item how many names would there be? we all like a bargain but not all like to be called p---t-----s which can lead to very unwelcome words transfered from one another.if an item listed for sale is that good why should there be any mallas (it should sell if as good as mentioned) when i went to school the wording was always the customer is nevr wrong. steve_b_wales
ROBLATCH. You say you cancelled the cheque. You did not even send me a cheque in the first place. Also you say you found a cheaper DVD of the same name. Well that must be a copy then. The one that I offered you, and is STILL for sale, is a genuine one that was released in America at the end of August last. As far as I am aware, at the time of advertising the DVD, it was not available for sale in the U.K. And why did you not reply to the three PM's that I sent you regarding the DVD. I, for one, would have replied, and also apologised for the inconvenience caused. But then again, not all PW members have the same manners that I have, and don't know the meaning of the word decency. Most of us do, but not all. AND, whatever the word P...T....S is supposed to spell out, it did not come from me.

njc110381
It's not too hard to just send a quick PM saying you're no longer interested. It may take a couple of minutes of your time, but at least then the seller isn't turning down other potential buyers to hold on to an item for you when you're not even going to buy it. SORRY (i dont deal in contraband) its agains my inteligence to do so (being a social worker) and again my appologies of decent manner but i will quote the email sent. (STILL WAITING for the cheque for the DVD. You failed to answer the two messages I sent you regarding the above. I take it you don't want it. Thanks very much for messing me about!!! ). as or that matter accept appologies' but the wording of the above email may just refer to that.as a genuine person i can speak open mindedly and am quite a good judgement of caracter and upon this take the advantage of knowing when a person is trying to act as a spillage upon that caracter but again everyday i see this and can bypass that.WHY did you not name me upon the post which this exist's,? i think maybe because a person with a concious mind cannot name the genuine as regularly happens in a court of law whether or not for a crime consiting of violence or upto a crime consisting of CONTRABAND (copied) GOODS

Mungler
Alright I am lost on this one, but it seems like a storm in a tea cup. Roblatch you're a very naughty boy for messing Steve B around. Steve B, you shouldn't get your knickers in a twist about a £13 DVD - you will have a heart attack. That's it me thinks. Nothing to see here.
steve_b_wales
ROBLATCH. The reason I did not mention your name is that I did not want to start a ***-for-tat message war. You know that you were wrong in your doings, but have not got the back-bone to admit it. I have kept all the PM's that I sent you, and, apart from saying "Thanks for messing me about" (a bit hard and naughty of me I know) they were all polite and curteous. Also, not that I have to tell you or anyone else, but I also work in Social Services. Why you mentioned that I don't know. Do you think you are so special because of what you do. I don' t think I am. Having read your last 'message' on PW, it seems that you are insinuating that I am selling ' contraband' (Copies) I view this very seriously. The DVD was ordered by myself directly from a supplier in the U.S.A. All duty was paid on this item. This will be my last message on this subject as I have better things to do. I will add though, that you really should check your Grammar/ use a spell check. As a ' Social Worker ' I would have thought that you would have had more command of the English Language. Gordon R
I'm almost lost for words. Once you shake hands, in person, verbally or by letter, you enter in to a contract. You do not go around trying to find a cheaper one. You do not fail to send a cheque nor do you stop the cheque. When you cancel a cheque you say a lot about your character - not that there is a lot of character there.
webber
Gordon Congratulations, I feel that you have said what I and possibly a few others were thinking. Then I learned that a social worker was involved, so I kept reasonably quiet, because we all know that they are never at fault, always find someone or something else to blame for their own failings, and will use thousands of words to convinse us, as to their blamelessness, if that a word. As I said earlier common courtesy is free, as are words such as sorry, which I note has also been sadly lacking. We can all drop a clanger from time to time, but being man enough to admit your error and appologise to those conserned says a lot about someones character. I did try to stay impartial in this matter, but thus far the evidense does seem quite damming, which is sad, as I do believe that the person conserned has previously exhibited the qualities that are usually held dear by PW. webber
