derbyduck Posted May 11, 2021 Report Share Posted May 11, 2021 (edited) On 22/04/2021 at 17:29, Dave at kelton said: And that’s what keeps so many of our 8 bores going. yes Dave your right , I worked for Lafarge and the most I gleaned was around 3000 from a bad buildup , the most I heared of being fired was 6000, Lafarge stopped using the guns after two operators where killed , the kilns I worked on where fittered air blasters to stop the clinker buildup, I'm not sure if they've started using the guns again in other plants abroad . just to add they fired lead slugs (2oz) in those carts I got and not shot that the girls where loading !
