henry d
I`m bored doing a bit of maintenance on this comp and as it`s starting to cool down into autumn, I thought it relevant as we do eat a lot of soup here in Craic na Fuddin towers, this week we have had a spicy chowder and my favourite............Minestrone, or as the cook at work spells it ministroni. Sooooooo whats yours fave soup !

new to the flock
Gotta be a nice homemade seafood chowder, or maybe my homemade tomatoe, or possibly the venison one I made last week. Mind you I did a lovely lamb stew the week before B) Nothing better than homemade soup! NTTF

WeihrauchPower
This is a really tough question for me! It's between broccoli and stilton or curried butternut squash!
Dunkield
Sorry to be borring but Tomato Soup is delicious. I am with you on the one Axe. But mrs stuartp's homemade lentil soup with a french stick straight out of ther oven takes some beating. Have to agree with Mungler on the indigestion front, the old 'see it and eat it' kicks in am afraid, I won't leave the table until there are only crumbs on the breadboard B)
Jonsey
Homemade chicken soup lovely....... We make lots of soup at home due to the fact that we get one of those organic vegetable box deliveries each week. More often than not we have masses of onions left so I do the Delia French Onion recipe. Very tasty. Soup in a tin has to be Heinz Tomato. Dunkield
Funny isn't it in a world of choice, I would go for Heinz Tomato every time and have walked into a 99 types of ice cream parlour and go for vanilla every time. I am sure a psychologist could read me like an open book B)

Dr W
My mum's home made lamb soup or her onion soup are both lovely. Have made the onion soup occasionally but it's got a fair amount of butter in it so not good for the waist line. Mmmmh starting to drool a bit, I think I might have soup for dinner tonight now (good hangover food)
