JDog
I saw a small group of Pinks heading North along the Lincolnshire coast this afternoon. Perhaps the Indian Summer is not to their liking and they were going back to Svalbard.
flippermaj
Funny you should mention that as I saw my first bunch this afternoon also heading north past Inverness!
Stonepark
The temps and weather in Iceland are dropping to freezing, this week and geese will all be on the move now, if not already.
Dave at kelton
Just got back from a day picking up and heard the first pinks over the house so I about ten days later than I expected but at least they are on the way!

Saw plenty on the stubbles on the way to Inverness this morning, usual third week September they use the North wind to come down from Iceland 👍

shakin stevens
Really heavy south, south west winds over the far north in Sutherland past few days , but the sky has been pretty busy with geese 24hrs a day . Nobody will ever predict what wind direction they favour, they just fly in all conditions.
