Springer with night vision

Hi fellas  I'm about to get a 97k in .22. I was wondering if I could use a yukon photon with it. It's only for short range ratting in the garden, maybe one rat a fortnight so nothing heavy.

I do have three pcp's if not.

I wouldn't. 

The recoil will most likely destroy the electronics inside .

I've ruined a few led torches the same way .

Pcp is best .

Seen a vid on you tube with a bloke using a pard on a 97

Just get a red torch, or put it on one of your PCPs

Hi jamesleee I use a photon xt . in the instructions on the bottom of page seven ,it’s not recommended to attach  cvr640 video recorder to the scope because the recorders not designed for heavy shock resistance. Hope this helps you. If you are going to purchase one l would ask .

I've already got a photon xt, I think I will keep it on a pcp.

Build your own for about £75. There are plenty of diy nightvision tutorials on youtube. Mine works well out to about 150 yards so it will be fine on any airgun.

So this is basically mine. I think there is a parts list in the second video

 

 

I would however be tempted to build one using my smart phone if was to build another one. Im not sure how he gets to £100 but you should be able to do it cheaper by using a cheaper camera.

Thanks very much for taking the time to post the videos.  They look far too technical for a thicko for me 🤔🤔 so I think that I will wait and see how the Base nv90 turns out 👍👍
