Plink all day
I believe wax can be used to shine a lacquer finish and disguise marks and scratches- can anyone recommend any particular product? I believe renaissance wax is often recommended for this type of finish? I know the best option is to strip it and refinish with oil but would be a bigger job than I have time for at the moment
oldypigeonpopper
Hello, don't see why not, I usually melt some in an old spoon and use like liquid , rub well in and polish off, Edited December 2, 2021 by oldypigeonpopper
DUNKS
My son bought me a car detailing kit which I did try on my Browning when it was lacquered. Brought it up lovely. Cant see why vehicle polish would not do. Might get a tad slippy though.
Smokersmith
Autosol works remarkably well on this type of synthetic finish.
paulinlincs
Slippery **** wax. No it's not a joke it's a brilliant product. It won't let me put the name. Less is more with this. A very thin layer palmed on with your hand.
