discobob Posted January 10, 2022 Report Share Posted January 10, 2022 A number of years ago I was digging in the garden and heard a strange call and looked up on the fence to see a bird I hadn't ever seen before. I actually ended up joining a forum just to ask (not this one ) and was pointed towards a Californian Quail which it was- It could only have escaped a private collection.
