Once again Berettaman you're missing info, what Sainsburys have said is Muslims who have religious issues about selling alcohol have the right to not sell it.

 

This doesn't really change anything. It amounts to the same thing, just dressed up tartier. The fact remains that, if you have a religious problem with serving alcohol, you shouldn't be working in a place that sells it. It's no different to a person who is offended by sexual issues, they probably shouldn't really go for a job as receptionist in a knocking shop :sick: :sick:

 

 

It means that there doesn't actually have to be any one that it actually offends. I really can't see someone at a checkout keep raising their hand every time they get alcohol in front of them. Their work colleagues would go nuts. However it does protect Sainsburys against any constructive dismissal claims on the basis of serving alcohol, much as health and safety laws have gone mad so companies have to be vey careful about just what employees can sue for

 

But why would Sainsburys (and apparently other supermarkets???) just pick on Muslims. As I'm such a virginal wallflower, if I got a job in Sainsburys, I could take issue every time a women came to my till with a box of those panty-liners that look like jumbo jets :lol::good::/ :blink: Have I no rights? :lol::good:

I'd lay money on it being instructed by Sainsburys lawyers and just to cover their backs against any legal action. Whether any choose to do it is yet to be seen. The truth though just doesn't make sensational headlines

Hhhmm, Seems to me You have a secret agenda against white British people complaining about what is being done to our country?? this is not the first time you have complained about any comments on this subject re the decline of white peoples rights in (our country)?? Ok Mohamed What else must we not complain about?? If I am missing the point? please tell us what your religion insists what we must do to please you,?. If it will help I will gladly pay your boat fare back to whatever country your ancestors have come from,provided of course you dont come back next day with many more of your tribe/ relations who are only too glad not to have to work for a living.

Assuming you are a white, non-immigrant, straight, adult, C of E or non-religious male, you have less rights than anyone else in the country. If you're English, less still.

We dont go over to there country and have ******* stupid rules imposed on own behalf ,simple, they dont like selling alcohol they stop working for a place that sell's it, or go back to whatever country they came from ,FULL STOP NOTHING ELSE TO TALK ABOUT.

 

Agreed, plus when we go over there we must abide by their rules (women headscarf's). If we didn't we would be shot or have our head cut off :blush:

So, anyone who disagrees with your interpretation of events has a "secret agenda", thats not very fair.

 

In just the same way that anyone who claimed that you had a "secret agenda", by continually making anti Muslim/Immigrant posts , wouldn't be fair.

 

Also, it is none of anyone's business, what religion any other member of this Forum follows.

If you have any spare money to throw around, I will be quite pleased to send you the details of some deserving Charities.

Oh well perhaps you are correct, if I am wrong then I will admit I should not question the motives of people who question my beliefs,? as to paying into charities My Wife and myself pay £6.00 a month by direct debit into two of them ,one a animal protection one and the other a child protection one As I am on a small pension I am afraid I cant take on any more on at the moment but I would be pleased if you would say how many charities you yourself contribute to, anyway All my comments are in joke most off the time, and I didnt know his name Was Mohamed !! cheers

I think that any Sainsbury’s that has implemented this nonsense should be named. That way we could all go there and load up a shopping trolley with loads of frozen stuff; ice-cream, fish etc. fill it to the brim and then pop in a bottle of scotch.

Then tootle off to the till with the Muslim objector and put the scotch through first. As soon as he refuses to serve you……just say stuff it and walk out in disgust leaving all that frozen food on the checkout.

I think they would soon get pi$$ed off having to put all that frozen food back, and if it were to be done in really hot weather then they would not be able to put it back in the freezer because it would not be safe for them to do so.

Wasn’t there a case of a Muslim police officer refusing to stand guard at the Jewish embassy a short while ago.

Even better than that would be to boycott all Muslim checkout workers, that way they will feel **** and leave <_<:blush:

It`s always nice to see polar extremes, you know the ones that say, "No I`m right, you are wrong !!".........."No I`m right, you are wrong !!" , that always seems to work..........but only in playgrounds.

 

Big corporations hands are tied behind their backs, due to one thing, beaurocracy, remember the common market ?

If the big corps had a spine, backed by legislation, they would have asked, at initial interviews, if the subject had any problems selling any of the miriad items for sale by that corporation as part of the job interview. A similar thing would be to ask firefighters if they had an avertion to heights, which they do ask.

Lads lads lads, there is good and bad in all walks of life and tarring all with the same brush is just wrong.

 

This one has been round and round the forum a gazzillion times before - the consensus appears to be in favour of "common sense" and that this Country needs a common sense party, not the Third Reich.

 

Come to our Country respect our religion and our culture, be tolerant of others, speak English, respect and support Queen flag and Country, support our cricket team (God bless Norman Tebbit for telling it how it is), get a job, pay tax and boom shanka.

 

If you don't like it then leave and or don't come.

 

If only my grandmother was still alive and running for Parliament, she would sort this Country out - common sense and compassion by the bucket load.

 

Back to the alcohol point, anyone who refuses to serve Berettaman1 with alcohol (black, white, brown or yellow) gets my full support <_<:blush::blush:
