Get it done and in to the system, then they have no excuses to get it sorted out in good time.

I’ve heard of the feo sending them back if it’s done too early . I’ll call in the docs this week then 👍
TIGHTCHOKE
Usual practice is to write to you and request you submit the form in good time. It is probably a computer generated request and has not allowed for the big shutdown on the horizon. If you get it in to the system before the Christmas break it will be waiting for them when they get back in the New Year.

Luckily I did, because my doctor took 3 month to do the form, which is why they said to get it started. My forms went in with the completed doctor's form, at the same time, all online. I was getting a bit worried with the doctor's side, and was told, If it gets to 12 weeks left and I still hadn't received the doctor's form, to submit the renewal forms, and send the doctor's form when I received it. That way the renewal would be in, in time.

Get it in now. think its time for the 10 years ticket with perhaps a doctors review every 5 years. Sprinter
Well there you have it, after a grand total of 10 months and 12 days the Northamptonshire renewal process is complete! I now have a new certificate and a sheet of paper with a long list criminal activities that will result in the revocation of my certificate. What might have been less onerous maybe could have been a shorter list of illegal activities that I can do which doesn't risk my certificate...... On another note, my old certificate and table were 2 sheets of a4 paper. My new certificate is 2 sheets of a4 folded and stapled to form an a5 booklet to "save paper"? By my aged addled brain there is no paper saved and an extra staple used? So that's all done until we do it all again in 4 and a bit years. Elmer Fudd 1
Finding this late of course but surprised by the speed of some Northants renewals. My renewal (FAC and SGC) went at beginning of November 2021 and i still haven't had my tickets back. This comes despite 5 face to face conversations with the head of dept in that period where my name "was put on the list of urgent ones", 2 FEO checks (moved house in the period), probably 20 emails, as many phone calls and a PCC complaint. At this stage i don't really know what more i can do...
