wildfowler.250
Cheers gents. I’m sold on the pcp idea now. I can shoot well with the springer. But the off the bipod, pellet on pellet repeatability seems a no brainier. The springer can come out for plinking
Rat Boy
IMHO springers are not as accurate as PCPs. My HW100 is more accurate than my shooting, if I miss a target it's my fault not the rifles. I have a 12ltr 300 bar dive bottle which gives loads of refills and I can get the dive bottle refilled about 30mins from home. My only moan about the HW100 is the low shot count compared to the competition.

It might be that you can shoot a PCP more accurately and it's certainly easier to shoot a PCP more accurately, but that's not altogether the same thing as the gun being more accurate in itself. Accuracy of the gun is about whether you can rely on it hitting the right spot time and again with all other variables being constant. But if the shooter isn't replicating those variables (aim point, grip, breathing etc.) then that's not the gun's fault. PCP's are just more forgiving with changes in the variables. Charliedog
From my experience a PCP makes a decidedly average springer shooter into a never going to miss shooter very easily, PCP all day long for me.

BinaryB
The HW100 comes with a rail which I thought a nice touch.
