had decent results this season with a small spread of 6 full body decoys but am thinking about making a small compact setup i can keep in 1 bag with my hide and just pick up and go kinda thing. as most of my shooting oppertunites have been fairly short notice small window kind of deals. do the goose wind socks work on their own as a half dozen or do you need a few and are they just for filling spreads out?

they seem ideal but at £45ish for 6  just looking for advice before i buy and potentialy waste a few outings next season

thanks guys

I use 6 sillosocks and 4 full body and they work fine.

Usually try to put the full body decoys as the first decoys the birds will see on their approach then the sillosocks behind them. By the time they notice the difference it is too late.

I will be the first to admit this is prob unnecessary and just something that is in my head.

We shoot a large area in Scotland that ( all around us gets pressure ) and 6 seeks would just be ignored . We use 100 plus on pinks and in really hard still weather 40 plus enforcers . Anything else and you really have no chance
