Dougy
Does anyone know what dog friendly bars there are close to Cramond, i see that the local Inn is closed still, just wondering if its a decent place to stay for a week's break. Google search has not given me much info. Thanks

Scully
When I used to take my family to East Lothian for holidays when they were small, in the early 2000’s, we couldn’t find any dog friendly bars or restaurants at all, anywhere. Gullane, Musselburgh, Tranent, Haddington, Edinburgh. We couldn’t even take the kids in after a certain time of evening, not even to eat, so often ended up having to eat outside! humperdingle
Tbh it’s not until you get a bit more rural, that the “Dogs allowed” signs become more common. Most of the more northerly little towns have great access for dogs - Pitlochry, Aviemore, etc. As mentioned above, many might let you have a drink, but outside. Dougy
I'm looking at June time. Mrs wants to see Edinburgh, and we would like to take both dogs. But above all wants a local pub close to bed that we can have a drink/ eat in with the dogs.

Dougy
There was talk about opening the Inn with public funding or something like that ? The area looks nice and quiet, but we like popping to a local hostelry for food and a pint, and dont like to drive after a few beers. Thanks folk for asking the questions, any tips or similar will be greatly received.

Bobba
I googled “dog friendly pubs Edinburgh” The ‘The Dog People’ website came up with 11. You could map them to see how far from Cramond or even change your stopover locality to one of them.
