To be fair , in the corridors of power, and the semi aristo setup up therein, there's a lot of inter relations. And cousins are a multi generational thing.

Our late queen was married to a distant cousin I believe?

Does interbreeding explain how Prince Andrew turned out?

He's back at it again.

It was inevitable after he was 'let off' completely.  It is interesting that he has changed direction to 'Trophy Hunting'.

It seems to me that in general, the British public was at best rather luke warm to his refugee stance.  Whilst 'government bashing' is popular among many, refugees and boat people channel crossers do not enjoy much public support away from the lefties.

However, issues such as 'Trophy Hunting' (and hunting, shooting and fieldsports in general) are unpopular or at best not much liked with a great many of the public not the just lefties - and lets face it - small (and larger) furry animals have always been close the British public's heart.  There are obviously a mass of reasons for this (most of which are of very dubious truth) from perceived cruelty to 'class' divisions.  Trophy Hunting will be an easy target for the lefties because it is not liked by the public, and even many shooting people such as myself are 'not keen' on the 'trophy' aspect.

I suggest it is very much a matter for the individual countries to do what they wish in their own territories and understand there is a proper conservation role in herd (and predator) management that can be combined with an income.

Agreed.

I know the real benefits to wildlife, the environments, the countries and the local populations that sport hunting provides.
