So you are happy with protests like sabs where people have been attacked, and i take it you are happy with the may day protests where property is damaged, buildings defaced, windows shattered ,fires started.

Peaceful protest is fine, but  once you decide that you can break a "little law" to get noticed where do you stop?

Do you agree with the protest at the snooker? it was aggravated trespass, criminal damage, and if you do agree with it would you object with a protest on land you were shooting at where they sprayed you and your vehicle with paint? or destroyed your decoys and hide? or perhaps you would just stand back and allow a protest at a clay ground you were at where they destroy the clay machines and spray paint all over the place.
Or how about accepting that peta have a right to scratch your car and puncture the tyres, smash the windows in protest about you being a shooter, do you think that would be ok?

They vandalised property and caused criminal damage. Do you think that’s acceptable?

Legality does not make things morally right or wrong. Law is made by the people in charge, many of whom are corrupt and psychopathic. Do you honestly want to use the laws they make as your standard of right and wrong? Show me where I mentioned Sabs, Peta or anyone else.

Criminal damage and aggravated trespass? How about we put things in perspective and realise that some idiot disrupted a snooker game and poured orange powder on the table, making himself look an idiot in the process. Nobody was injured, no priceless item was destroyed, it just wound people up.

And GordonR and Vince Green calling for "crippling fines, which might ruin their future" or "There is a relutance to send anyone to prison. More the pity" - what the hell is wrong with you? You think someone should do time (ruining their ability to get a job, a house, travel, to name a few, for the rest of their lives), just because he was an idiot and disrupted a snooker game?

God help us all

A man who advertises criminality for money, damages property, and disrupts others business and leisure, may not be a 'hardened' criminal.

But a criminal he is. And should be deterred from further action.

I can't see how you can argue with that???

And you think he should do jail time which would ruin any future prospects he might have? Try getting a job with a criminal conviction, what about trying to emigrate, what about trying to get a mortgage? You think all that should be stripped from him because in the stupidity of his youth he disrupted a snooker game?

Nobody harmed? i would suggest you read up on the latest studies on the effects of fine dust on the respiratory system in an enclosed space.A killer much like asbestosis.

By releasing all that paint dust in an enclosed space he put many people at risk of now having a ticking time bomb in their lungs.

Desperate pearl clutching. Keep licking the boot.

So by your reckoning anarchy is fine, where is your agreement with the laws we abide by, do we let people deficate in the street? or just take food from supermarkets without paying, are you saying that because you don't think someone wasn't injured then it's not really a crime? Would you drive through a red light if there were no cars about? or go shooting on someone elses land when no one was about?

Anarchy - which is to say, a system in which no man has authority over another man, sounds pretty good to me, far better than the one we have nowadays in which a few people at the top dictate everything we can and cannot do, with the "can" rapidly shrinking and the "cannot" rapidly growing.

Do you even realise how you sound? You speak like a slave that is dependent on his master speaks. Worrying

Tremolite fibres are completely dissimilar to the composition of paint. Moreso given it would be a single exposure to paint dust, moreso on top of that given that the amount of paint that managed to disperse to the crowd would have been minimal.

Do you have a firearms or shotgun licence, you know those things that are laid down in law,if you have you make a mockery of your own beliefs by bowing down to  your masters and accepting the hoops they want you to jump through lol.

It would be highly irritating, knowing we couldn’t touch them, I’d personally want them heavily fined, wouldn’t you?

Define heavily fined - do I want them unable to pay their rent or mortgage? Do I want them unable to pay their bills, pay childcare costs? No, I don't, because that's disproportionate to their actions.

You should read up on the effects of fine dust particles, it doesn't matter what the dust is,the fact that in this instance it was paint only compounds the issues.

I am well aware of the effect of dust, and you are wrong, the nature of the dust matters greatly, else why would asbestos be so dangerous if it were just another dust?

I’m trying to understand your train of thought, if someone had took the time to drive out to where I shoot, disrupt the flight or vandalise my car surely a nice fine would help discourage them ?

Heavily fined, in my opinion a decent amount of their income (if they have any), but if you’re happy for them to keep paying their bills turning up every week and causing disruption to your shooting then crack on 👍

I don't think you are fully aware, otherwise you would not disagree, as an inspectorate the company i work for test thousands of lev systems a year, and are up to date with the latest studies and legislation.

I am deeply unhappy with the UK's stance on firearms ownership, and yes, I find it humiliating to have to prostrate myself to the police to own a gun.

You seem to have no problem with it though.

Is household dust as bad as asbestos dust, or uranium dust, or cadmium dust? You asserted that the type of dust makes no difference. So you are incorrect.

What does it cost you to have a flight disrupted? It's annoying, for sure, but would you be happy for the disruptor to end up homeless because of it? Seems a bit sadistic if you think so.

Smudger687 - your simplistic, anti law and order posts suggest you are a troll or have very limited thinking. You ridicule welsh1's point about dust, by making a ridiculous comparison.

Did the hardened criminal check whether anyone in the audience was susceptible to dust? Perhaps he didn't care or would he just hope the court might stupidly dismiss it as just dust?

He has committed a fair number of offences on this and previous occasions and seems determined to ruin other people's lives. Why shouldn't his life be ruined?

Your constant reference to boot polish just about sums of your level of "intelligence". It was interesting to note your devastatingly valid point about childcare costs, as the moron concerned thinks that having children is immoral.

You need to do your homework before making silly posts.

Really? That's misdirection at the very least!

I would wager the funding of such things comes from a certain ageing Hungarian billionaire.

Socialist Action in its several incarnations goes back to the 60s. Principally then its aim was to infiltrate organisations like the unions and CND.

The Internet has given them a much broader scope to cause disruption. Now they don't have to infiltrate organisations they can create them.

Extinction Rebellion and Just stop Oil are two very typical of their style

Rarely have I seen so many inane comments in a thread on PW.

The snooker is covered by the BBC so all the guy had to do to protest was stand outside the theatre with a placard and he would undoubtedly have received the coverage he wanted. By acting in the way he has what he has achieved is a big discussion about his behaviour rather than the message he was trying to convey. He has failed.

Choosing to move into the criminal world by causing criminal damage was his personal choice and so he must take the consequences. If his family suffers that is his fault and not societies.
