Talk about Big Brother - they would even want to know when you numbers change!! Climate change is a political agenda and nothing more. I get so angry when people/politicians, whomever, try to interfere with my life and my freedom to choose to eat, speak, think and act as I want. I have no doubt that if we yield to any of this, then the next step is a creeping legislation, but by bit, and once that happens then all non-believers or free thinkers will be criminals. Thanks @Scully, 1984 is a warning - some are taking it as the gospel though... Very telling - that farmer at the end is heartbreaking. And that Mislav, I have seen him before being escorted out of the "parliament" - one of very few who are left trying to get the truth out. It could a common subject of conversation among the one million households (perhaps two million voters?) just about the time of the next general election. And the pigeon racing fraternity will also be interested, as will all the little old ladies with their budgerigars. Does Therese Coffey think this will be a vote-winner for the Conservatives? Imperfection Posted May 12, 2023 Report Share Posted May 12, 2023 I've always kept chickens but when my health took a serious nose dive three years ago and my flock died off from old age i decided not to replace them. Anyway, few months ago i received an email from Defra about bird flu and to keep poultry inside-which struck me as odd because i've never informed them of owning any. How did they know i previously have had them? Big Brother is watching us! 👀 Anyhow, i bought several ex-batts few week ago and despite being absolutely terrified of me, they're happy and laying everyday. Compulsory id carrying next? Got to be honest i dont see the connection with that one. It would seem good sense to check ID of all voters even if there was no fraud, just to show it's a fair system.
