steve_b_wales Posted January 17 Report Share Posted January 17 I made up a Spreadsheet using the above program, which contained a huge list of my sales etc. For some reason, the program disappeared completely off my computer and I can't upload it again. I've tried looking for it using different programs, to no avail. Now, I can't open the spreadsheet due to it being compiled using Open Office. It's not the end of the world, but bloody annoying. Flyboy1950 Posted January 17 Report Share Posted January 17 Don't know if it will help but have you a restore point on your computer? Place a restore point on your computer now before doing any thing and if all fails you can come back to today. Go back to a date before where you think its failed and restore it. Excel will usually be able to open an ODS file, but will give a warning about risks associated with macros. It comes up as all squiggles etc. I will try libreoffice though. Yes, I actually tried a restore point but it only gave me a few dates to choose from, and for some reason, I couldn't enter any other date. As mentioned, it's not the end of the world, and I will create a new spreadsheet in due course. The old one only had detail sales etc, which, although handy to look back on, are not really needed now. My mate is about to build me a new tower computer and my 'old one' will then be destroyed in the harshest way i can come up with! Thanks. All the details saved on my old computer were actually on a portable 1TB drive.
