all right own up ..who apart from me would eat this.....

it really hit the spot with mint jelly white pepper and colmans mustard...and 2 rounds of square bread and butter.......only seen and prepared in the lands finest homes

the bentos pies are okay but they always have a soggy uncooked bottom...

Aye when we where first married i told the wife i liked them we had them about four times a blooming week till i said enough , enough them she said i thought you liked them ?

I definitely would.  My wife bought me one the other day after me waxing lyrical about the tin of babies heads in the old compo ration packs - that was my absolute favourite menu. I liked the FB puddin, but definitely not a patch on the old tinned compo version.

ive got a thing for marrowfat peas....just love them.....when i make pea&ham soup i use one tin of marrowfat peas (bust them up a bit ...)....one tin of mushy peas ....ham or pork...bit of water...and smimmer for a while...and serve...(with a bit of mint sauce and bread for dippies....
