Pigeon and Crow / Rook Decoys

I am in the need for some decoys over the years mine have been well used, abused and lost. I now find a need for some decoys and are thinking about Silosocks as they are very light and not bulky. 

What are peoples thoughts on them or other recommendations.

Tidepool wildfowling products on Facebook there is a offer on them all now crow , pigeon, hypa flappers he is the cheapest by going direct 👍

My mate has some silo socks both crow and pigeon and has had great results with them .

We have done experiments where we have had silo socks /full boddied plastic and real birds in different sections of the kill area .and pigeons will come into any and all of the zones .

Basically  if your in the right spot  and the birds want it they will come into any half decent decoy .

Hello, if you have some old shell or whole body pigeon decoys , not those flocks, i bought a can of black matt spray about £3 and coated the old deeks and they work well, never tried Sillosocks but do look good, Tidepool have an Ebay shop £28 for 6 pigeon,

Agreed. Right spot more important than decoy type - so buy the easiest to carry.

These I made are very effective, and cost very little to make.
