billytheghillie
It is with broken heart I sent my loyal companion over the rainbow πΒ Bridge. Had this lad from a pup, and spent many great times with him. He was with me 6 days a week on the river, and I feel that I gave him a great life. But sadly due to heart problems I had to do the right thing and free him from his pain. He had 13 years with me, and I could not have wished for a better companion. Rest easy Sam, π love and miss you.Β Β

steve_b_wales
Sad new indeed. Ream the poem, 'The Last Battle'. It helped when I had to make that decision.Β
JohnfromUK
Sorry to hear, but you have obviously given him a great life and looked after him pup to old man.Β There comes a time when there is a right thing to do - and it's really hard - but it is the right thing.
