Recommended Posts

Didn't look at these barley stubble fields yesterday should of done but didn't know they had been cut  its just over the way from where we shot yesterday, birds on the fields when I got there nice line across one of them set up minutes later and started shooting it was steady but I noticed another stronger line develop going to  the other field a good 500 yards away so I left my dad in the first hide and I set up on the other field mine was the busier of the two I had two good hrs then my dad joined me for the  last hr  both using a 20g with 24g steel 4s and 5s and both do an excellent job had 112 on the clicker   picked up exactly 100 on the nose

You and your dad had an excellent day , how nice to be able to shoot with your dad , I lost mine years ago although he wouldn't hurt a fly so there wouldn't had been a lot of chance him ever shooting with me anyhow.

This time of the year it is a job to keep up with all the cut fields and it is so easy to bypass a decent field , with a very short time frame you really need to be on the ball , and you have certainly been on the ball these last few days . Well done and THANKS for posting .   MM
