marsh man
It's never going to please everyone aboard and what is alright for some then others will say more of this and less of that , I prefer meat medium to well done and the veg very lightly steamed , gravy is how it turn out , a quarter of a jug of boiling water , or lately the water the veg are done in , two tea spoon fulls of granuals , a drop of thickener and a oxo cube , any left go over the dogs meal in the morning . Out tonight for fish and chips at my daughters as the grand daughter is going back to Australia on Sunday so I said I would pay for whoever turn up , good job I didn't tell you lot earlier as I would have to had taken out another mortgage on my house , might still have to . bruno22rf
If you are roasting a chicken then shove some Thyme and a Lemon cut in half up it's backside then sit it on a couple of roughly chopped carrots and an onion. Remove the bird when it's done and pour all the juice collected in the dish in to a pan then use water from your veg and gravy granules to get the consistency you prefer, sieve it through a strainer then serve.Seems a shame to waste the flavour from the bird.
