The only thing that would make that better is some colemans mustard, very tasty looking.

THANKS for the tip .. I don't mind a little mustard now and again , even though I have got some I never gave it a thought , I have still got some of the cold meats left so I will do a couple of beef and ham rolls for my lunch on Fridays shoot and add some mustard , ideal to warm me up if it's a bit on the cold side . :good:

Yes we always had that sort of ( lunch ) for Boxing Day evening meal , I was always out for the day and that sort of meal was easy to prepare and you cleared up the Christmas day leftovers , depending on what you liked , we had Branson Brown pickle , Pickle onions and years ago it was Piccalille , you don't see that used much nowadays , or do you ?     MM

It must be nearly as traditional as the Christmas day dinner itself to finish of the leftovers , on the shooting day itself , I would take a couple of sausage rolls ( home made ) a chunk of Christmas cake , a couple of Tangerines and a handful of Quality street . oh and when I drank alcohol I would take a hip flask of dark Rum .

English mustard to accompany the ham, but ideally horseradish to accompany the beef

Mustard I can handle but Horseradish I doubt if my ole heart is man enough nowadays 😋 , I used to buy a jar that was homemade off the market place , this would make you sweat as soon as you undone the lid , my god that was strong , now later in life you tend to forget about some of the different foods you had in your younger days , some you miss that you can no longer get , and others you are glad they are now just a memory .
