Chutney and pickles

I like my chutneys ..but it is so difficult to find one that i like particuly for cheese......below is one chutney that i really like its not too vineagary...

it tastes like the old fashoined chutnies i remember that my mates mum used to make...she also made an awesome green tomatoe chutney...

try this if you see it......its truly old skool

Wife puts that in home made sausage rolls, Aldi do a superb caramelised Onion Chutney - spread on their number 7 vintage cheddar it's sublime.

cant go wrong with onion chutney's......but i do find that most supermaket chutnies are far too sharp which tend to blind the tast of the cheese.....i will keep and eye out for the Aldi one

Have you tried the Stokes range of pickles and chutneys? I particularly like their Sticky Pickle but they do a good red onion chutney. I think that Tesco stock their range.

I also agree with bruno22rf that the Aldi caramelised onion chutney is brilliant.
