First salad of 2025

As there had been an upturn in the weather we decided on a salad for lunch, and before you say it yes I spoilt the presentation with the beetroot, unfortunately the upturn did'nt last so it was back on the pie for tea.

Not quite salad weather just yet, in fact last week it would had frozen solid on the plate if I had ate it outside , but the main meal would had made up for it as it look very filling and just what you need in the height of the Winter , very nice   MM

Gravy on salad😝 no, according to the bottle it's honey and mustard dressing, thankfully I could'nt taste the mustard, the yellow stuff on the eggs was salad cream, a cheap bottle from somewhere, was not impressed with that either so that went in the bin, obviously the best meal was the pie, I think we will have another one today, with gravy of course.

And here we have it, the pie, mash, broccoli, peas, carrots, kale and of course the gravy, beats a salad any day.
