They were saying after the game that next weeks game Vs Italy is Wales biggest game for years, imagine that 😳😬 2 hours ago, Rim Fire said: Very fast 🤣 First 15 mins I was thinking it might be OK, then France kicked it up a gear and Wales had nothing else, some good defence but nothing going forwards 🤷♂️
Tedward Posted Saturday at 09:50 Report Share Posted Saturday at 09:50 Looking more and more like rugby league, what happened to hit the space not the man ? - or am I living in a time warp ?

Your supposed to hit the space in league as well, 'run at spaces not faces' But the defenses these days are so good you don't see many spaces, certainly not when the forwards ( or Welsh backs 🤭) are trying to blast through at the ruck because they've ran out of ideas. The French ran at space and offloaded great last night, that's why they won so easily.
Sussexboy Posted Saturday at 17:17 Report Share Posted Saturday at 17:17 I may not be the most experienced rugby viewer, but why can’t England defend without often giving away penalties?

JKD Posted Saturday at 17:36 Report Share Posted Saturday at 17:36 (edited) Well it's pretty much an equal match, despite England up 10-5. A bit scrappy but some good play by both sides. Edited Saturday at 17:50 by JKD Correction
SuperGoose75 Posted Saturday at 17:39 Report Share Posted Saturday at 17:39 Not much to separate the teams at half time! England's defence is looking pretty solid. Ireland failed to make hay with an extra man for ten minutes. All to play for in the 2nd half
JKD Posted Saturday at 17:41 Report Share Posted Saturday at 17:41 Playing a similar game ? Entertaining, but certainly no classic 😆

Great effort while down to 14. 32 minutes ago, Sussexboy said: I may not be the most experienced rugby viewer, but why can’t England defend without often giving away penalties? It's very fine lines, under massive pressure you get caught offside.

Mice! Posted Saturday at 18:55 Author Report Share Posted Saturday at 18:55 Ref killed us there, he'd said 'any more players running in will be off' clear penalty to Ireland being tackled in the air, not dangerous just a second too early, Ireland pile in after the whistle and he did nothing, I expected him to reverse the decision which would have given us an advantage 😥 Itoje getting penalised at the line out when he's done nothing 🤷♂️ Great game though, I'd say Ireland deserved the win, some brilliant lines ran, much better passing, foolish English errors that shouldn't happen at this level, the England 11 on his debut had a very mixed bag. For me you can't rely on kicking the ball high to put pressure on the opposition, Ireland got it right, Parks Lowe and Aki * had a great game. *thought Aki had retired from international Rugby?
