Jonnyni
AOL the worst virus you could put on your computer and the hardest to get off LB if you have had Broadband with AOL for more than a year you can migrate for free to another broadband ISP. To get AOL off your system you will probably have to reinstall windows and get the updates again from microsoft for your OS. YOur system will probably run twice as fast after that. remytherussell
Do we care. Not remotely to do with shooting. Why not tell AOL. RTR (Of course we care xxxxxx)
Lurch
What gets me is when people ask for advice on PC's, then take absolutely no bloody notice. Then come and ask for help when it goes wrong. e.g. what do you think of AOL? Awful, steer clear, don't go there etc. So I've got AOL and now I can't blah blah blah
squintshot
The thing I find funny about this forum are the people that complain about there computers. Most of us own a gun of one type or another, just shoot the plonker thing problem solved!! Then see if the house insurance pays out for a new one!! lurcherboy
Squint, I like your train of thought Mark, had it before you turned up son RTR, don't want anyone else to get shafted. Including the ****** Jonny, when they let you out come to Kent and sort my comp. Did I mention that AOL sucks and Jimdfish is a mentalist. Lurch
Mark, had it before you turned up son Specifically thinking about my brother in my little moan, he's always asking PC advice and then completely ignoring it. I was going to have a pop at ya for calling me son, but as you appear to be 99 years old I'll let it slide grandad.

lurcherboy
Yes Sniper I would. Constant disconnections and message reads ' there is a problem in your area ' Contact BT who do a line test and report no faults found. 1-2 days at a time Sniper thats why AOL sucks. PEREGRINE
You should all get rid of your crappy pc's and get a real machine, an Apple Mac. No more windows ****, no more viruses, no more crashes and they look so coooooooooooooool!

The Sniper
LB, Well, I must be one of the lucky ones, then. I tried BT once, and was charged for every bloody time they tried to connect me. Needless to say I got a refund on that £100 phone bill. I like AOL so much, I have just upgraded to their broadband. Disconnections are a very rare thing in my area, Yorkshire. Is it anything to do with a poor phone connection ?
lurcherboy
Sniper, I have been on broadband since July/August time. I am glad its works well for you and three other people in the UK. I now have a dedicated phoneline for broadband. It still sucks. Would have answered you earlier.........but I am on AOL :( :( LB :(
