MJN
"MGMan; Oh and Yo' Boy is the local mersea brew ... so I'm led to believe. something to do with nautical greetings? "No idea, I've never met a nautical, is that a posh word for a stripper? I assume that it's a small local brewery? We have a local brewery also, it's called Harwich Town Brewery, with some interesting brews; http://www.harwichtown.co.uk/beers.html Just found yours; Beer with oysters in?? 'avin' a giraffe incha pal? Like the humour in the write-ups though! http://www.merseawine.com/brewery.htm Hi Bob, they are put in alive and drown happy oysters (alledgely) LOL !!!! "ISLAND OYSTER - 5.1% abv. A new recipe for a traditional Oyster Ale, using lots of oats, a mixture of light and dark malts, and a small amount of Fuggles hops. The brew has local Mersea Island Oysters added to it, giving it a distinct unique flavour. WARNING - It is widely believed that Oysters contain aphrodisiac properties. To ensure the best results we suggest that copious amounts of this ale should be consumed, only stopping when the oysters work or you fall over, rendering you completely incapable!!! MC
Mike, Bob doesn't need any oysters while I am sleeping in the same cabin as him. Mind you, the smell emitting from Evil Elvis should be enough to put off any amourous thoughts.

You will need more than a gat gun if Martin has been on the oysters. That won't stop him!

BSA Shaun
I thought that Oyster beer was beer to drink with oysters, same as oyster stout. So is the general concensus a 6pm arrival on the Friday? Also where abouts should we start pitching the weekends castle? A map would be handy if poss of where everyone is meeting Edited July 29, 2008 by BSA Shaun

Like your thinking, I'll load some SG for the 4-bore. High brass of course. That's if the PW police think that SG is suitable for helicopters, without a suitable backstop etc.
bob300w
WHAT TEAM WILL YOU BE PLAYING FOR BOB Me? You're 'aving a giraffe incha sunshine? 22 silly **** chasing one ball for an hour or so? Jesus, if there is a definition of sad, football is it. You would think with all the money that clubs make they would give them a ball each. Far more civilised. SPARKIE
on a serious note has anyone got the address for bisley inc postcode so it can be punched into my sat nav
BSA Shaun
From M3 Leave the M3 at Junction 3 heading for Guildford on the A322. After 3.5 miles, you will reach Bisley village. Towards the end of Bisley turn right on to Queens Road and follow the sign to the National Rifle Association Bisley Camp. After 1 mile, turn right at the National Shooting Centre sign into Bisley Camp. From A3 As you approach Guildford pick up and follow signs to the A322 and Bagshot. Head north on the A322 beyond Worplesdon, at Fox Corner leave the A322 at a mini roundabout, taking the sign to Pirbright. Before Pirbright, you pick up the A324 coming in from your left. Go through Pirbright, on the A324, for 1/2 mile to a railway tunnel. Go through the tunnel, and keeping to the left, go straight on. Do not follow the A324 to the right. Go over a red walled canal bridge and after 300 yards, turn right at a sign to Bisley Camp NRA. After 150 yards, turn right onto Queens Road. After 200 yards, turn left at the National Shooting Centre sign into Bisley Camp. At the Camp The red brick walled entrance is set back from Queens Road on a bend. Bisley Shooting Ground is sign posted and is half a mile from the entrance, our logos are on all the signs at the bottom in green. Enter the camp and follow the main driveway over 2 speed humps. After following the left hand bend, past Bisley Pavilion Hotel, you will start going up a low hill with a line of trees on the left. The Clubhouse is at the top of the hill on the left, located next door to Williams Evans Gunmakers. I believe the address is: Bisley Shooting Ground The Council Club The National Shooting Centre Brookwood, nr Woking Surrey GU24 0NY So who's arriving Friday then? I know Catroofel and I will be Edited July 29, 2008 by BSA Shaun
