Tot Murderer to be sentanced

If you were a HCJ and it was within your powers would you give this evil ******* the rope.?

I cannot see any moral or humanitarian grounds for keeping these people alive and in society, whether imprisoned or not.

Earlier this week, James Howson, 25, of Nelson road, Doncaster, was found guilty of murdering his daughter Amy at Leeds Crown Court.

His trial heard how Howson had been looking after her last Christmas while her mother, Tina Hunt, 26, who was 12 weeks pregnant at the time, was suffering morning sickness.

Jobless Howson held the little girl over his knee and exerted so much pressure it broke her back in two. He claimed Hunt - who admitted allowing the death of a child and one offence of cruelty before Howson's trial started will also be sentenced - had killed her.

The court heard little Amy, who was malnourished and dehydrated, had also been slapped and punched in the months leading up to her death. When she died, she had 40 injuries, including seven bone fractures from a series of assaults.

Howson had admitted a charge of child cruelty by not seeking medical attention but denied murder. The jury of six men and six women took just three-and-a-half hours to convict him

By the time this scumbag has done a little time he may well wish there was a death penalty. The treatment this guy is going to receive at the hands of his fellow inmates is going to be far worse that anything you or I could think up  . There is a certain code of amongst inmates (only known though visits in a professional capacity not as a guest  ) and crimes against children and the old figure highly on their internal code. By the time this guy comes out (if he ever does) he will be a shadow of his former self and should his whereabouts become common knowledge, my experience of human behaviour suggests that his troubles will start all over again - hopefully. On another note - just how the mother gets a suspended sentence for 'allowing him to kill the child' is beyond my comprehension. :yp: In the USA both of them would never, ever see the light of day outside prison walls again, which is as it should be!

Well in Sweden up till 79 you had the option - Go to Jail or have your Knackers cut off.

I think in this case both should be applied.

If we didn't have such a mamby pamby government then doing a "Bloody Mary" and burning at the stake is the only possible and vicious enough retribution that can be applied and make sure that it is a slow burning fire without the use of accelerants so that the ******* can be heard squaling to death.

Or what about one of those amchines like in Jimmy Bond - The world is not enough. Wind the handle till his neck snaps!

The other option is to treat him like a crab and slowly lower his body into a boiling vat of liquid.

I don't see why my tax pounds should fund scum like this in prison forever, so that's a thumbs up for hard labour for life, with life being life.

Problem with the whole death penalty thing is that it would be implemented across the board and whilst it would catch the likes of this scum bag it would also include a few who didn't do it e.g. Sally Clark who as it happens died last year from alcoholism having never recovered from the miscarage of justice and her very hard 3 + years inside.

The excuse for a human should get a death penalty as there is no possible question of his guilt, I thinks hanging is inhuman, but so is what this creature did to that poor child. Shooting is quick and I am sure there would be no shortage of volunteers to carry out the sentence.

Butch ,

You are confusing hanging (the long drop ) with strangulation as seen in cowboy pictures . I can assure you that hanging carried out properly by an experianced hang man is instantanious death and quicker than shooting . Harnser .
