Leaking wellington boots.

I have a pair of neoprene lined Eiger wellington type boots.

They have served me well, until today.

I have a leak in the seal between the upper and the sole, there is a very slight flap of rubber I can pull back.

Does anyone know of a product that will waterproof and seal the boot effectively( I have tried mending boots in the past and they always leak again soon after mending) ?

Or should I just junk them ? :good:

my mate bought a decent pair of wellies that ripped at the join between the upper and sole, when he tried to take them off the first time he wore them. so he threw them in the bin. his brother then took them out and glued them with bath sealant and has had no problems so far.

Aquasure :good:

I sliced the toe of my Chameau's right through to the canvas 'oh dear' I thought (or similar)

Cleaned the gash with alchohol and poured aquasure in, but thinking the boots had had it, that was about a year ago and the repiar is perfect.

It's about 6 quid a tube, but fishermen swear by it for repairing neoprene waders etc.
