henry d
This one cheap and easy to find, plastic handle/sheath and therefore dishwasher proof.
AndyCM
I use Henry's recommended knife and I also like the SOG field pup, they come with leather or nylon sheaths Cheers AndyCM

Windy
I'm not a stalker, but I carry a Spyderco Native 3. Never really liked Spyderco stuff until I got this at the right price....It's awesome, never had a cutting tool like it. yup....mine is a Native. fullbore
I carry the same as Henry, I have lost too many good knives over the years, in the forest, but these are cheap, keep a good edge, and are seemingly unlooseable
Bleeh
Buck Vanguard with rubber handle. Bloody good knife, you can get a hair-split razor edge on it too. - Problem is your spending about £20 per inch of blade. Gonna Shoot a Wabbit
A grade up or two from henry D's. The stainless clipper knife from frosts.... £12 from bushwear. it recently spent a week in deepest darkest wales after my misplacing it and returning a week later to find it unblemished and just needing sterilising to be ready to use again. i have done 2 roe, 1 fallow and 3 red hinds, and 50ish rabbits so far and still going strong. just needing at touch up now and again on the DMT sharpener to keep it keen. takes a bloomin razor edge with the right sharpening gear. Hunter_zero
Third vote for a Buck Vanguard/zipper top class knife and meets all the requirements of a stalkers knife I also carry a buck 110 for smaller jobs. John
Baldrick
I carry a Fallkniven H1 for deer work, and I carry a Leatherman with me at all times. I also have plenty of Opinel knives dotted around the place.
moses
I use a Coldsteal finnbear, cost a tenner and it's brilliant!
JDFrain
carry 2 largest size Opinel knives, prefer these as these sharpen so easy as only being steel instead of stainless, tend to leave the buck in the motor. JDF
