Pedro
Missing the start of the roe buck season and a bit of pigeon bashing, but, for the 1st time in 7yrs, we're off on a plane for a bit of summer sun in Mallorca, (having had some off/on years in the Vendee). I can't flippin wait! AND When we come back, we're off to the V festival - a top 3 weeks off! Buenas noches! (Or something like that) P. MC
Oh dear, I spent a week in Lake Garda a fortnight ago and the first thing we were told is where there was an irish bar that sold pg tips, chip butties and beans on toast. Maybe I am unconventional but I did not go to Italy for beans on ******** toast. I didn't even want spag bol.

I though it were black pudding and barm cakes. What is Manchester famous for? now they brew Boddingtons eleswhere. And Coronation Street isn't a valid answer

alexr
Hoi Hoi Chard,Is Sale really in Cheshire? I say this as someone who really does come from Cheshire. JDF P.S Tongue in cheek You might be right Sale is an M33 ( Manchester ) post code, not a WA15 ( Warrington ) post code, that stops at Timperley . But both are in Trafford. However Timperley and Altrincham are said to be in Cheshire and Sale is said to be in Manchester . But the division line between Cheshire and Lancashire is at the junction between Sale and Stretford ( which is also in Trafford ). MY BRAIN HURTS !!!! Hope that clarifies the situation ( like mud )
Chard
Listen, you riff-raaaaaarff. Historically, Sale was in Cheshire and they moved the ******* border by creating a new "county" of Greater Manchester. Now, I'm a bit historical, so I'm still in ******* Cheshire :o Who are Manchester City? I'll need to tread very carefully here, this is a split household when it comes to football and I'm outnumbered. Stockport should be moved into Derbyshire anyway
