Evening all .

like most of us I have been very patiently waiting for my harvest shooting to begin , over the past few weeks I have thinking about maybe a new O/U was on the cards , however I wanted something handy but a little different from my usual type of pigeon gun , Also that didn't want a lot of money spending on it ,

got a call from my RFD on Friday dinnertime saying that he might have just what I was looking for , as I done him a good turn the other day he said he would wave his commission and let me have it at t what he bought it for , so off I went .

when I walked in I was presented with this little cracker ( pics below )

its a 1970 Grade 1 BC Miroku MK 3800 Skeet with 26" barrels , fixed chokes at 1/4 and 1/4 ( I checked them and I would say 3/8 and 3/8 )

I have had a kwik go at shooting skeet with it and I must its great fun , but VERY FAST in the shoulder , but looking forward to getting in the hide with it .

anyway I bit his hand of at £300.00

does anyone know where I can get some proper info on this gun ?

for the record the serial number on the gun does not have the date letters at the end of the number. the BC Miroku's just had a number .

any info will very much appreciated .

Yes i too am a fan of the semi auto . But i love shooting O/Us as well . In a strange way it sort of feels a bit more traditional . Not a lot . But a bit more . And its a proper old school O/U . NO forcing cones . No back boring . Just two steel tubes .

Nice. I like a 28" sxs for crow shooting from a hide, nice and handy, picking up an old Eibar in a couple of days. Have you stopped using the Extrema? What cartridge are you planning on using through the open chokes?

Yes mate im back into my O\Us .

There not open chokes there 3\8 and 3/8 . As for shells fiochi F3 piston 28 gram #8 for clays

Fiochi PL 28 - 28 gram #6 for pigeon .
