as above what would we do if gunpowder wasnt available to us including shotgun cartridges etc and for reloading what would you do would you try to find an alternative for gunpowder

i use no gas mig welder and also a dc arc welder mig is a clarke 85en and dc arc is an easycaddy both of which i bought back in the late 80s and both still working a good as the day they were bought i used to use oxy accetallene but was getting to pricey for the gas and the rental on the bottles but dont do as much welding now but still would never part with them they have save me a small fortune with the likes of exhausts on my cars as my skoda has bits off other cars peugeot and fiat if i remember right for the exhaust its amazing what you can stick together with them as for the question regarding marks topic yes you can make a normal mig run on no gas mig wire all you need do is to reverse the conections on the mig welder where the torch and earth clamp are fitted on the welder also best if you buy a big spool of wire rather than the little ones which cost around 14quid for a 1kg roll i think they are were as if you buy the big spool which i payed 48quid for a few years back which i think was a 10kg roll if i remember right

ive owned my .243 since last year and my conditions for it are the humane destruction of deer and vermin (foxes etc) and also is an open ticket aswell and i did not have to do a deer management course or need to be accompanied by a licesnsed deer stalker either but maybe different in other force areas, im in northumbria area and also having shotguns for 20+ years and only held fac for 6 years now so i guess it not manditory for deer management in my eyes so maybe in their eyes im a compitent person to own and use firearms

well my car is 11 years old now but if i get a cheque for 2k il take it , but as for getting a voucher giving me 2k off a new car will i be any better off (DONT THINK SO) or is this just another ploy to get people into more debt i wonder as for being greener well were would all the cars that people scapped end up more waste being produced and more scap yards opening which isnt to bad itl create jobs but i think il just stick with me little 1.9 diesel skoda it never let me down no onboard computers to worrie about going wrong

well living in middle of a town centre and still get power cuts , ive more power cuts here than when i used to live at my other house which was in a countryside village but well at least i still got my internet running , running modem from a 7amp battery and laptop using its own battery and when that goes flat il plug in my inverter onto my 24amp lamping battery but i guess thats life what can we do (nothing) well leckys back on now but no doubt will go off again

well look inpressive but still a bit pricey for some people im sure someone will figure out how its done with a small dc motor and a cam (i think thats how they done ) but i guess most use bouncers etc like the above post says the wind/breeze is free as they wont work with out power bit of a ****** if you forget batteries for them

well there it goes ( our civil liberties) well i guess now we have big brother spying on us like said earlier, wont be long before they want camera`s in our toilets well i hope they will be monitoring everyones stuff no exceptions (includes gov aswell )cant have one rule for one and another for someone else is it wrong or is it right in my eyes its wrong as i wouldnt want someone that works at one of these places getting hold of my bank details etc supposed to be secure online banking well not anymore how long will it be before anyones data, credit card details, banking details and other stuff which is supposed to be secure when you use certain sites for paying bills starts to get used for fraudulent purposes i wonder

£1.03.9 at my local garage looks like we going to be stiffed again thanks gordon (NOT) wonder how long it will take before £1.40 a litre again dont they know theres a ressesion we cant afford all these price rises fuel first then the cost of living will follow food prices will go up aswell as everything else bullets and cartridges will soon follow (time to stock up )

well i think i have to agree with the above the rabbit he shot couldnt of been more than 25 feet away from him thats not hunting just another gimmik for some one to make money if you do it right you wont need any of that stuff he was more than likely sitting just away from the rabbit set which may of been just other side of the thicks wonder if he any good at proper rabbit shooting or would he have to use his magic spray **** anyone thats hunting rabbits or even stalking deer wont need any of that kind of stuff just down to good knowledge and fieldcraft and last but not least common sense and stay up wind of them so they cant smell you

if anyone else like our selves were fiddeling the goverment out of tax payers moneys etc we would have a nice day in court and most likely jail but if you work in goverment its ok to fiddle moneys to suit your self in my opinion she should be sacked and never to work in goverment again it puzzles me why they need 2 houses aswell thats is the biggest fiddle in my opinion they claim more in expensives than most hard working people earn in a year i think they only in goverment to get what they can for them selves and stuff everyone else like the daft sod that was using a push bike to comute to the commons and said he was doing his bit to be green but then had a big car carrying his stuff to the commons for him but i reckon if they get caught fiddling expensis etc they should be instant dissmissal no ifs or buts out on their **** makes me biting mad when see them on the news and they just seem to laugh it all off as they know what they have done and they seem to know they will get off with it aswell gordon brown pull your finger out and get the lot of them sorted out at least then you will have done something right never mind just waffleing on about **** no one is interested in we all know we in ressession maybe would be better off if you get all the fiddleing robbing **** out of goverment i guess this topic will go on for a good while yet anyway ive let off a bit steam now ,, till i see the news again

try using the carrying strap off an old laptop bag i use one for my 243

i think you should be allowed to use them for vermin control seeing as you are allowed to use life like decoys to pull them in then why cant you use any method that seems to work i think it would be a good idea to use one of those glitter balls if it does the job would be the fraction of the cost of a load of life like decoys does that also go for the ball with a tail that bounces all over for use on foxes (cant remember what they called ) i cant see the problem if it does the job we should be allowed to use it but i guess if its the law then we must abide by it

try henrykrank ( google him ) i got my press and set of dies from him and if i remember right was only 54quid including post made by LEE but you may need a set of scales aswell which im sure you can pick up on here second hand or buy new either way will be a great saving mine have already paid for them selves

if using a car charger maybe use one of those timer switches which you can adjust the amount of time the charger is on for just a thought

well i never had a visit from feo all i done was send in the forms and letters from land owners stating that i had their permission to use calibers up to .243 for fox and deer control and got mine back within a few days then went out and bought the .243 a dare say you wont be the only one waiting for their fac

get a fair few flying past my kitchen window but dont think the niegbours would be to happy at me shooting them shame really as they nice big ones aswell

i always use them for when car insurance is up for renewal as one time my insurance was due for renewal i got the proposal from the company i was with and they tryed to add another 70 quid on to me premium so on the phone i gets and asked why is it going up that much a few quid i wouldnt mind but christ 70 quid i said you must be joking and they couldnt tell me how it had gone up that much so straight on to a well know website put in all my details etc and managed to get a fantastic offer from the post office the price was 194 and i got 50quid cash back so in reality was only 144 quid a hell of a saving compared to what my other insurance company wanted theirs was more near around the 270 mark so in my opinion it does pay to shop around

ive still got a few baikal AAA`s left from about 20yrs ago never seem to see them in shops now bloody good cartridges aswell priced some AAA`s a while back and they not half went up in price over 10quid a box so now load my own for foxes using 6x 8.5mm lead balls which dont half work only wish still could get them baikals

well this may come as a bit of a shock to most but near to where i live there is a 40 zone for about 250yards and slap bang in the middle is a national speed limit sign maybe some of you guys from around the gateshead area may know of it its near the coal house roundabout at the team valley (near sainsburys) trading estate on the western bypass i was just reading a topic on speeding in another post so thought id put this post up it its a max speed zone for 40mph then why the hell have they still got the national speed limit sign slap bang in the middle of it still ?
