if he wants half or a couple of meals worth just shoot 6-8 and split them with him, if youve shown a bit of sensible restraint and not blasted every duck you see there might be a repeat performance as youve shown yourself to be sensible mikee

try a multi quick wc connector with the rubber fins, should be able to fit over the end of the new plastic pipe and then slide the other end inside the exposed end of the clay pipe, if its a shared run with other houses you will need to chop the clay chanel out so you can cement the plastic pipe in properly, the multi quick idea isnt perfect but will get you out of a muddle mikee

ive got a Ruger m77 mk2, i took it to the gun smith last week hoping he could reduce the amount of trigger creep, the previous owner had the pull adjusted and it breaks consistently at 1lb 12oz, which is very nice but it has lots of travel, he reckoned it is quite a job to alter as there are no adjustment screws, its a process of trial and error by taking it to bits, altering it and putting back together as many times as it takes to get it right, perhaps its best left to the professionals mikee

ive never found it to be too windy, most of my best days have been when its really blowing a gale, you do need to make the first shot count as you rarely get a 2nd when they lift into the wind and roar away mikee
