    7x57

"GUNS R US " in Sheffield are showing 2 boxes of 7 x 57 Norma in 150g in stock.
  3. I have one of these and it is first class, but, a monthly / annual subscription has to be paid for the GPS / mobile component of the deal. https://tractive.com/en/pd/gps-tracker-dog
  4. A mate had a similar issue with an e bay item that he sold which the seller returned to him for a refund. The item was not returned, instead he had a box of tarmac returned to him ( buy the buyer ) via RMSD and e bay automatically paid the buyer out for a refund. After a nightmare which included him getting an incident number from the police, all was resolved some 4 months later by e bay.
  5. I have loads of them with different power loads in them, but I can only send them via special courier as R M wont handle them !
  6. I am after a .410 side by side boxlock ( or sidelock ! ) ejector shotgun. It will be a first gun for a 6 year old lad. Ideally the gun will be able to handle any non toxic shot that may become a " requirement " If anyone has one to sell please PM me. Thanks. Tony
  7. Mini bolt cutters for me and they are, on a shoot day, on the quad not far away in the first aid kit.
  8. Expensive, but their prices are about 75 % of what my local "on farm butchery " charge, and thats when I collect !
  9. Paramo for general stuff and on formal days Laksen, these are my choice. The old story applies " you get what you pay for ", but at over £350 new for a Paramo and £450 new for a new Laksen, I expect as certain standard. As for military stuff my " well informed pal " says it made to a standard and a price, so decide for yourself !
  10. Just had SYP do my variation ( not a one for one ) in 5 working days. Top service.
  11. My mum, was chairperson of the governors for 42 years at the school where my sister and myself went to as infants / juniors. She got an MBE for this service from the palace. Today, the very same school, is almost wholly full of the offspring of the 3rd generation of unemployed breeding machines with 35 year old grand parents stood at the school gates waiting to pick grandkids up at home time. My sister and myself did well at this school. How society changes.
  12. On our shoot the person on the next peg up from the gun who shoots a white pheasant pays £100 to a local charity. It works well !
  13. I use an A-Tec Wave Carbon on a FAC Daystate Harrier running at 30 ft/lbs and it is excellent
  14. Agreed You and me, ie the tax payers ! You and me, the tax payers !
  15. 12 Ga side by side shotgun proofed for HP steel cartridges - Any recommendations for a gun please. I have a budget of £1500.00 and I am wanting a side by side that shoots steel HP cartridges. Can anyone offer a recommendation please.
  16. I am after a pair or Aigle Parcours 2 ISO Neoprene Lined Wellingtons in size 10.5. If anyone has any for sale please PM me. Thanks. Tony
  17. Yes definitely, as well as a first rate gunsmith he was a very good salesman !
  18. Top answer Walker570. Tattoos, mobile phones, TV subscriptions, eye lash extension, scratch cards / etc are all unnecessary items and most who plead poverty have these. BUT some are genuinely in dire need of help.
  19. Exactly the correct answer from London Best
  20. I only use snap caps. A gunsmith instilled this on me 45 years ago !
  21. All gone from my area near Sheffield. They are in the parks and on the golf courses, after acorns and beech mast.
  22. The answer is YES. Check out the auction houses, such as Holts.
  23. I shoot Gamebore Regal Steel in 30g No 4 shot through at 2 1/2 chambered Arthur Turner S X S. 35 yards is about the maximum range in my opinion.
