  1. try disconnecting the battery. Rebooting the system may clear it??
  2. Was told, when I bought a Freelander 1 years ago that it was set up to feel as though it was front wheel drive and the gearing was running quicker to the front, than the rear. Advised to put new tyres on the rear if only changing two so not to put extra stress on the IRD and rear diff. Didn't mention anything about the useless viscous coupling!
  3. That's what I asked but it went through mot without any advisories ? Was told to inflate tyres to 36psi, take it for a run and it'll clear. Did that, still on!
  4. I've got a spare set of wheels for the OH's car, for winter tyres, an they came without any TPMS valves. Kia wanted a fortune for 4 and that's not happening. Has anyone replaced the TPMS for aftermarket ones? Can you reccomend a supplier of these sensors? Would normal valves work or are the rim fittings different? Clumber.
  5. I really like the idea of smaller machines and sanders are on sliders so they are stored neatly out of the way until needed. A lot of thought and time has gone into this fellas workshop, just wish I could get my garage half as tidy
  6. For the tackle tarts or those who 'get wood'! How many clamps do you need?
  7. When he was in his prime fighting weight would be 27 - 28Kgs. He was about eight when that picture was taken and about 30Kgs. Unfortunately he has Progressive Retinal Atrophy, PRA. Stills okay during daylight but dusk is a problem. Still gets excited when the gun comes out Will look for another next year.
  8. Myself I found him easy to train. He's quite a soft dog so went gently but he'd pick up most things second or third time of asking. He could be quite headstrong at times as he grew so we'd pack up for the day. Could get bored easily so I mixed it up each day. He'd need scent or would look at me with a 'your joking' look when we moved on to cold game. I went along the Divid Lisset line with bits from quite a few other trainers. They work like a Springer but a little slower and with a purpose, I'd say. The same but different, not as frantic if you get me? Fantastic noses.
  9. Quite the characters. Love em!
  10. I get it! Personally I did steadying with hens, similar to the link. https://youtu.be/edF9NGurOz0 When it came to the flush/drop training I did it while walking the boundaries. Not ideal but made do. Good luck.
  11. Are you wanting to race them or keep fancy birds like tumblers or fan tails? We used a 6x4 shed for youngsters and strags (strays). Mesh door inside the main outer door. Side window became the trap to a outside aviary built on to the side of the shed extended higher than the roof. Simple perches. Not kept birds for nearly 30 years but my brother has a few, mainly for pets now. Word of warning, which ever you get they'll attract feral pigeons and being on a farm will be a PITA. RPRA will give you more information
  12. Used to see our local FEO out and about, lives in next village, so got updates until he retired. Never had any other contact only for renewals. Mind you living in a small village some folk know what's going on before it happens!
  13. I was surprised by how much land and water they've bought up and the deals done on beef. They've been going about buying into different countries around the world for quite some time, nice and quietly. Africa springs to mind. Like you say, it'll be interesting to see how the Aussies go. Could be a turning point for the rest who are in a similar position?
  14. https://youtu.be/qqOa4jJMwao And we want to let them loose with their 5G
  15. Latifs inspired on YouTube is well worth a look for the home curry cook.
  16. Dogone, What's the deal with the Carbon Tax you're being levied with? I've watched Quick **** McDick on YouTube, a light hearted take on serious issues, and it seems like the government is willing to destroy the country in search of money?
  17. Think you mean at a BBQ 🐷
  18. You may be leaving a scent on the trap so mole detects it. The jaws may be set narrower than the tunnel, mole bumps into it and digs around it. Seen and had it done many times. Try barrel traps, the covered top holds soil better than scissor types. Putange types work very well but take a few goes to get right. As London best said, shoot it on the third push as it'll be up inside the hill. Knock a few hills flat and wait. The old wife's tale says they throw at 3pm. Good luck.
  19. Sold, pending the usual.
  20. 😂😂😂👍 I'll have a guess at Mobil chokes for Beretta?

  23. I asked this question , simple enough Dear sir/madam, I'm enquiring about Bismuth shot and its suitability for use in Damascus barrelled guns.I know that some manufacturers of lead shot competition cartridges state on the packaging that they're not suitable for use in Damascus barrelled guns, possibly due to the high velocities. Also I know that steel is unstable for Damascus but what about your Copper Zenith loads?I would be grateful if you could advise me on a suitable cartridge for Damascus. This is what I got back - Thank you for your email enquiry, I have spoken to our Production manager who has given the below response. This would be dependent on the current proof marks on your gun and you would be more informed by speaking with the Birmingham Proof House. As far as the Bismuth cartridges are concerned, they are manufactured to CIP controls and states that the average pressure will not exceed 740bar and an individual of 850bar, the case length used in the 12-gauge Bismuth range is 67mm and 70mm dependant on load. Zenith is again manufactured to CIP the Zenith range is 70mm chamber length and does not exceed 740 Bar. We would like to thank you for your interest in the **** ***** Brand. Kindest Regards I don't think I'll be pushing bismuth through this just yet.
  24. I shoot a Damascus barrelled guns and I also shoot modern steel proof guns. IMHO the sensible approach to lead would be, If shooting for personal use of quarry then lead should be available to use without restrictions, ie amount purchased or shot per annum. Wildfowl restrictions still remain. Ridiculous as it is for inland fowl. If shooting on a commercial shoot where the quarry is to be sold or gifted into the food chain then non toxic shot to be used. How many guns are going to be instantly consigned to scrap if a common sense approach isn't implemented, instead of a blanket (voluntarily my ....) ban. But then again common sense ain't so common anymore.
