  1. Never worn brand new with tags. Size medium. £18 posted.
  2. It does but it doesn’t have standard female connector to fit the bsa specific adaptor - it is male - male with a non standard adaptor on the end
  3. Mine has arrived. Bonkers for £4. Tried to fill rifle- realised my filling whip has a leak so need a new one before can fill rifle now. I have a bottle and a pump to fill it but can’t fill it as no spare whip! anyone recommend where to get one not silly money?
  4. Aigle or decathlon own brand. Definitely not Hunter.
  5. I’ve ordered one to see as a back up
  6. The WHO are no less corrupt...spent more time defending China than trying to stop a deadly pandemic.
  7. I’ll put a reminder in my calendar...I don’t think it’ll be this year as she’s still not keen on gunfire and probably even a light .410 too heavy for her. Thanks again.
  8. Thank you - that’s a great offer.
  9. She’s been again since...heard me opening the gun cabinet and asked if she could come and use the air rifle again. She really is quite a good shot - took a knock down target so probably 1/4 of the size of the clays and she was hitting that consistently too.

Old Chinese proverb... man who eat bats after keeping with other weird creatures in awful conditions cause global deadly pandemic...
  11. If they are still available when we are able to travel then I would take the gamebore pure gold.
  12. Macron has told him to punish us for leaving the EU and our vaccine roll out making them look silly. Possibly one of the worst refereeing mistakes I’ve ever seen.
  13. Well there were no deer about despite there being 40odd one field over last yesterday afternoon so I was home by 10am and have cracked on with jig for the vermiculite oven dome. scrounged the board from a skip and managed to work around a few small holes in it and other than finding some flexible plastic for the entrance and screwing the entrance down jig is complete. no need to put legs on it as luckily a couple of bricks on top of our fire pit table give enough clearance for the yoga ball to sit perfectly and more stable than putting legs on the board. next job is to source / scrounge / find a suitable chimney then build of dome can start.
  14. Possibly a silly question, I have 2 empty patio gas bottles, how do you safety cut them open without blowing yourself up with the residual gas?
  15. Don’t get me started on university campuses....maybe 2000 it would have been a pro taliban, yes pro taliban - the Islamist terrorist organisation that murders people for not wearing a silly costume set up a stall in the union. I was less than impressed and got into a heated argument with them and then had some lefty lesbians (well they looked like lesbians and not the sort in videos on the internet) told me I was oppressing the cultural beliefs of said islamists and I would be reported to the university! The irony that they’d be thrown off a tall building by the people they were defending was lost on them. This is the same university that when I rather vigorously and physically pointed out the error of his ways to a student of south Asian decent that his celebrating very openly the death of British troops in Afghanistan was not acceptable accused me of racism.
  16. Static base it is then! I’ve ordered some bits so will be starting on the dome next week, then will sort base when dome is done and while it’s drying and when I have accurate size for it. cursing it I know but I’m off stalking first light tomorrow so hopefully will have some venison to try in it!
  17. “Person giving birth” instead of “mother” ”chestfeeding” instead of “breast feeding” NHS being told to include their pronoun on email signature and now a gender neutral Mr Potato head! this virtue signalling nonsense from the left has to stop....I am pretty sure that very few of the tiny number of trans people actually care that words are used which reflect 99% of the population, it is getting just silly now. I wonder if the new toy potato has switchable genetalia?
  18. Looks great, that’s what I was thinking....Friday night pizza night, then stick the meat in, door on and let it cook for the next day. Perfect...that’s close to my current thinking. Vermiculite dome, ceramic cloth insulation, chicken wire, more vermiculite sat on a slab base with a vermiculite slab between concrete slab and fire bricks. Then plan to render and paint it. Choice now is whether I go fora timber frame from railway sleepers or build a breeze block frame - whilst I can’t currently think of a reason to need to move it, a timber frame at least means I could move it if needed.
  19. They look great. I was bored during a conference call this afternoon and found lots of the YouTube vids on using exercise ball and vermiculite or perlite. Looks like the way to go and I’ve costed it at less than £150 so much more palatable. I note your open wooden base - the original plans I had for the clay version had a solid base filled with sand and bottles as a heat sink to maintain temps for longer - how long does yours stay hot on the stand base? I like the look of that - if I can source a barrel may try that route.
  20. What did you use in the insulation layer may I ask? I like the exercise ball idea - I was planning to use sand but like that plan better.
  21. Thanks - I’ll have a look who’s most local. Now that I am going to search for - I’ve priced up from the plans I was intending to use and it’s about £270 of materials - 150+kg of clay being the biggest element of cost. I can’t find much other than a comment on a thread - do you have a link? I should have put this in craft/diy - feel free to move mods as I don’t think I can
  22. Morning chaps, with the advent of spring and the likelihood of not really having a proper holiday this year, in the hope that we will soon be able to actually meet with family outside I am planning to build a wood fired pizza oven in the garden. I am looking forward to some even nicer home made pizzas than the wife currently makes in the kitchen oven with the pizza stone and the possibility of some slow cooked joints overnight.... I am pretty clear on how to build, plenty of online plans as I am too tight to spend >£1000 on a kit but what I am struggling to find is clay in bulk other than one shop on the south coast which is currently out of stock. Has anyone built one? Any tips? Anywhere know where I can buy clay in bulk? Thanks,
  23. Once lockdown is sorted and we are able to travel I am often up into Yorkshire either fishing or taking family to the coast so it could work. She looks very similar to my boy apart from no blaze.
  24. An awful lot of new gun for the money. I nearly bought one but went for a used silver pigeon instead...just feel a lot better quality in the hand. Anyone who says the ATA is a cheap Beretta - ignore them. They are a copy but they are different mechanically and materially.
  25. I suspected your last comment would be the current situation. One of my neighbours was telling me her daughter breeds some sort of designer fluffy mongrel things, can’t remember what. She has recently had a litter of 10 and they sold for £3000 each! Absolute madness. It’s going to result in poor bitches being puppy factories and their health being massively impacted. Maybe I just need to get my brother to get a quality working cocker and they they can breed from her with my boy in a few years and we keep the line going that way.
