  1. Nick I finally got around to making that target. Its a 6X6 inch plate, 12mm thick and a peice of pipe (armored) at the top to allow it to swing a little. (its darn heavy though). The feet are spiked to stick it in the ground, and it also has a small reflector on it so the laser range finders can pick it up passed 400m. This should do for what we need it for.

    im bored

You are not the only one Im waiting to hear from the Fire Service recruitment office, any day now... just waiting waiting...
  3. Good photos, you look well dressed. Its nice to see someone in real clothes at your age, makes a difference from little scrotes in trakie bottoms and trainers. Keep up the good shooting.
  4. Im glad your kids are so fond of you. I have good parents, but being stuck at home with them is hard at the moment, and I would do anything to get out away from them such as watching a movie or going out shooting. All I get here is a load of nagging and moaning. I cant wait to be able to afford to move out. But I may not be able to do so for a while Just hope Idont go mad before I can afford my freedom!
  5. Why not drop them off and go for an ice cream or coffee or a few of both. I love a good gory/scary film now and then, but its something you just have to get used to without jumping all the time.

  7. How long did that take you to research and write about? Giz a ride mate!
  8. What are you waiting for? its shopping time ya lucky sod
  9. Russ consider yourself lucky you are not in hospital with a bust rib or three. Never take on the old ****** without support, once they have done damage they disapear and are pretty hard to find again. This is why they can do whatever they like without getting in trouble, they live outside of our system that uses police/dental records, home postcode, and CCTV monitoring.
  10. Its going to be a 'long' day...
  11. Best bet would be to show a few photos if you can get some snaps of it (does he still have it?). Also what type of action is it? the only tube fed guns I know of are martini/underlever action guns by Mauser, and Winchester.
  12. Nick can we borrow it for next time we go lamping?
  13. I never hve been a big music fan. I dont have time or money to walk around with Ipods or mobile phones with music, and I dont download or buy music either.. Never really apealed to me, I usually listen to background noise, or whatever is going on around me. But I do listen to a bit of Dance stuff and have worked on a few tracks on a powerful music programme (Fruity Loops) which is interesting to work with. I can safely say that no part of my life is around music or in anyway affected by it. Not sure if thats a good or bad thing. Grew up without TV or much music.. so now neither of them bother me.

    PW ARMS

Darn some 20 mins ago I disabled my firewall and went through the whole procedure of gettin in the arms only to find no one there, thats why I neer use it because for me its a real procedure to get in there. What happened to the old room that someone had a link too? that used to work just fine for me.
  15. I cant stand pink floyd, but I hope you guys enjoy it. I also dont have a TV so im stuck either way.
  16. Firstly, well done on not concealing your mishap, sounds like you are the kind of shooterI would feel confident out in the field with. It sounds like you have your trigger at hair line level (you only have to breath out to hard and it goes off). Just re adjust it a little. Out in the field you do not need a target trigger setup, a common mistake. Field shooting and target shooting are so very different. I use my standard fairly tough Tikka trigger setup in the field, its safe to use, but what important is the way you pull the trigger. Grip it gently, not pull it.. that affects accuracy, not how many pounds of draweight it is unless its seriously high like some cheap airguns. Hope you get it sorted and get your confidence back into the gun.
  17. Even if he did steel the pic, its an awsome gun. Infact im seriously looking into this gun for long range hunting. And shorter ranger Deer stalking (yes i know its a very heavy gun). Only major downside is I cant get it in 6.5 and its a bit pricey. P.S 25Xmag is not much when you get to 600m/yds I would be suprised if you can see grass/vegitation with the degree of accuracy you describe. But then again a scope like that costs over a £1000 and the clarity is far better then my 25X scope. :o
