  4. They should send a few supa midi's over, will look like they have started breeding clays.........same as A1 shooting ground, they had to close down their OT ranges, cause of people in Borhamwood complaining.
  5. Going on holiday to China supposed to fly KLM via Amsterdam, go to check in, and told we not on flight, check with customer service Check with them and we are told we are going instead via paris, on a differant flight 2 hours later we leave it like that Get in Paris, have to re-check in, (they wouldn't let us book through in heathrow) and are told the flight is full. I lost my rag, (all you have to do is start raising your voice and not be ashamed when people start looking, cause that's when the little miracles start working. Got on the plane, but all 5 of us where scattered all over the plane, including the 3 kids. Eventually we where put together after some more noise. Nice holiday, got back, tried to phone who we dealt with, and some arrogant woman who could hardley speak english tried putting me on hold for 25 mins. I thought sod this, I'm not taking their **** again. Sent them a nice little email that I was now taking legal advice especially after the arrogant service. 20 minutes later got an email from them, and 2 hours an email from KLM with full refunded flight tokens, or cash for 75% of the value. If I pay for somthing, I expect what I pay for, not for my family to get messed around because they overbooked.
  6. also use milk for muddy fish, like catfish, just throw away the choolate milkshake after.
  7. Got a bloke at work who claims vets are permitted to use hand guns...........is it true? I think I smell a bit of a nessie............cause if vets where allowed, alot of members on here would be vets. I thought only the flying squad are allowed.
  8. Took my 5 yr old son out last night to look for some rabbit's, we ended up shooting my ciggy box cause we couldn't get close enough, but we really enjoyed, then again today to Sywell, we put a few clays up and I don't think we have enjoyed anything so much together. He wanted to sleep with the gun in his bed... The last 5 years I have been waiting to go shooting together Anyway, off to the gunsmith tommorrow to get the stock cut, and see if we can mod the barrell's........
  9. [ There's plenty of rabbits in north yorkshire around skipton, grassington area. A mate did 312 in long netting a few years around Jonno Skipton...... .......aint that where the old girls had their funbags out, made millions from the calender

This has been working on my mind!! I'm not into airguns, so this topic don't effect me too much, but am into outdoor pursuits and this topic effects like minded people. Every day you see on the news or read in the paper about some chav who has shot a cat or dog, and how the spca is involved, how the animal is damaged etc. Who does the press and general population blame............all of us who shoot. Public eye's look at us, even though we are the most law abiding citizens. I say we should all push and try and protect the rotten elemants from ruining our image, and giving us a bad name. Do you guys agree? Or am I on drugs? Any ideas, am thinking of phoning the BASC

I think you should go to the local cop shop and get a owners license to buy, somthing where they give you a quick check over and 5 min interview, not nearly like our fac's or sgc's though
  16. Hiya guys...........many thanks for your replies on the kiddis gun I started, am now looking for a .410 after your guys replies, I'm looking for an O/U, from £200-£600, would prefer to meet, so must be in the midlands. However.............a nice little 28g might twist my arm still
  17. That is abuse, I would've ended up losing my shotgun cert. if I would of seen that. When our kids are naughty, they get a good smack. was about 4 months ago last smack though. Must say though the teachers really compliment us end of last term about the kids manners, and made us real proud. Have found though with the oldest, a grounding or a chat does more
  18. Thanks guys, am going to go for a .410
  19. Just been watching channell 103, and wanted to see how others discipline their kids
  20. A skeetgun is usually 26" to 28", and the chokes have a negative value. When you pick one up, it should feel like the weight is in the stock.
