  1. My mate grew up on a chicken farm and the rats were huge. They used to do the same but it was against his terrier. Needless to say his terrier always came off best.
  2. Awful accident, just seen a replay and makes your stomach turn. Poor lad only 24 and a real talent and character. Serie A are having a minutes silence before each match today
  3. Had a similar experience a month or so ago. I was giving my mate a hand feeding up on the syndicate shoot he runs when we heard two dogs barking in the woods. When we drove back along the track in the woods (well away from any footpath) we found some doris walking 2 terriers off the lead whilst chatting on her mobile and totally oblivious to the fact that her dogs were darting left and right after pheasants. My mate stopped to speak to her and ask if she was lost and was going to point her to the nearest footpath and ask her to put the dogs back on the lead but she just ignored him and carried on walking. After saying 'excuse me' about 5 times she finally stopped and shouted 'What do you want?' when he explained the situation to her and asked her to take control of her dogs he got met with 'why don't you get a life and F off' and with that off she went again, dogs running all over the place. Just after that we came across the kent police dog trainers out with their dogs and mentioned it to them asked what could be done about people like that, they said she could be charged under the wildlife act but you'd need shed loads of evidence The arrogance of this kind of person is unbelievable and no one wants to see dogs shot but when dogs are allowed to follow their natural instincts unchecked by owners I dont see what alternative farmers are left with
  4. Nice work Bazza i'm no expert but look really professional to me. Seeing that lake has made me want to dig my carp gear out after too long in the loft. Good luck with your new hobby Wayne
  5. Another tick for decent white pudding here. Can't get a good one locally and have to wait for the mother-in-law to bring some when she visits from Ireland. Every cloud and all that... Oh and Veal is lovely too.
  6. What an absolute oxygen thief. poor little sod looks petrified every time the door opens. I agree with those that say the 'owner' deserves a good kicking and in this case the video was geniune but it certainly is a dangerous state of affairs when you can get a good shoeing as easy as attaching your address onto a video which isnt of you.
  7. The reviews are the funniest i've seen!
  8. J reg Escort that had a leak in the passenger side and used to fill up the footwell when it chucked it down. Had to PX it in the summer when it was dry so the dealer didnt notice
  9. At least I know where that can of Ronseal has gone out of my shed...
  10. We had a beard growing competition onboard when we were down the Gulf for charity. Some lads had a 'set' after one day but after 2 weeks I looked like an Amish reject and shaved my crappy bumfluff off from under my chin, bit embarassing at 27. Even the Wrens did better!
  11. Cracking photo's hope it goes well

Bet if you slapped a bit of pedigree chum around the bloke who's got his hand concreted inside the barrel's nuts and let the hundreds of ***** flea-bitten dogs loose he'd soon be begging for the Kango!

The judge who granted the injunction said 'I do not see that any serious injustice will be caused if the actual implementation of any measures will not take place before the end of this week' What about the injustice to the taxpayer who is having to foot the bill to have balliffs and police standing by until the end of the week?
  15. Heard this morning he fell on his own knife. Oh well one less clumsy thieving scumbag in the world
  16. Ex-Royal Navy now working at the Thames Barrier making sure the boats on the river don't hit it or each other!

  18. Apart from the one which had 12 rounds put into it, vids like this are ammo for the anti's having said that hitting a moving target from a moving helicopter does take skill
  19. I remember seeing it a couple of years ago, I thought a workmate was winding me up when he said you could see it with the naked eye. Very impressive when you consider the distances & speed involved.
  20. Welcome to PW and good luck with the SGC
  21. Good afternoon and welcome
  22. Good afternoon and welcome
  23. Thanks for those who suggested complaining to the BBC, I'm not normally a 'sheep' but I felt that strongly about this I too have complained. I suggested the BBC may like to try and undo some of the damage its done with this bias piece of reporting and send the weekend Breakfast sports guy (Mike Bushell) to a clay ground to shoot with youngsters as a build up to the Olympics and show how responsible they are when handling a weapon Just hope he doesn't come to my local ground when I'm there and show what a c**p shot I am
  24. As stated in another forum on this site, hats off to the young guy on the BBC Breakfast news this morning for doing his best to stand up to a one sided 'debate' even though he couldnt get a word in edge-ways. The Mothers against Guns woman had lots more air time than him and really shouldnt have even been there as it wasnt about illegal guns which are the real problem
