I also have a Rizzini in the safe, my lads, and without wanting to be rude, the quality of wood to metal fit looks much more like the Rizzini than the Bettinsolis I have seen (and owned). I would think it quite likely that Bettinsoli made barrels for Rizzini so chokes badged for the Rizzini should fit as well as Bettinsoli ones probably but, Red Kite sound like the people to know.

It is all in the fit. They are different, for me the Berettas rib sits low when I naturally mount, with the Browning it doesn't. I tried both when buying and had the intention of buying a Silver Pigeon, but after handling both, came away with a Browning 525. Try them and see what fits best.

The two I've known of didn't require replacement sears though, so don't jump into getting them replaced anyway. The other one belonged to a friend and needed a new spring of some sort.

Mine used to do it, the action was gunked up with thick, skanky grease. A thorough clean and light oil/regrease and it never did it again.

Tectite and similar will resist all the gunk in a heating system, although if it really is gunky you'd be well advised to clean and flush it. Trouble with heatng pipes is that if it's on a pipe drop you tend to get a dribble for quite some time...however, a wet'n'dry vac used to suck the pipes dry can be a God send!

Should be... ...IF, you cut the pipes with a proper pipe cutter which will leave a clean 'chamfered' edge, IF you clean all paint and muck off the pipe to leave clean metal and IF there are no dents or scoring on the pipe. Basically these joints seal on an O-ring, anything preventing that O-ring from touching the pipe all round will result in leakage!

Best off road... Defender, might struggle with budget, in which case Disco. Best compromise on/off road...IMO probably a Land Cruiser, budget again says maybe settle for a Shogun. Most economical, neither of the above, probably something like an X-trail...not so good off road etc So... ...really, you need to decide what your priorities are THEN, people can advise. Oh, and no doubt someone will disagree with all of the options above.
