  1. Agree with all of the above to be honest, as well as a proper flush out of the existing system and probably conversion to a sealed heating system.
  2. Troll or Anti, one or the other. Either way best ignored!
  3. I like amateurs, I earn loads of money sorting out their lash ups or charging to condemn and disconnect their works! To be fair to the OP, £80 does seem a little bit tasty, it's an hours labour plus a cooker socket bayonet. I'd charge £65 for it in Brighton.
  4. I always use fibre across my permissions, just the thought of littering clean land with plastic doesn't sit well with me.
  5. Interesting. I have scans of several SGC's including mine, none of them say anything to suggest they are copied and the scans would have been done on different machines.
  6. I'm sure you could manage, but if shooting lead shot has become illegal, and you continue to use your stockpile of lead, then that's non-compliance. Ergo, there's no point in going out and buying 500,000 cartridges 'to see you out'.
  7. My thoughts exactly, because it will be use that's outlawed not ownership.
  8. LOL, just gone and found the the duck thread, amusing, as is this thread. Good on you for maintaining your sense of humour.
  9. But do the septics have such a large market of 'old' gun devotees. Half the guns we're talking about are older than the U.S.of A!
  10. That's very tidy, how's it wearing?
  11. I have a Hatsan Escort which is currently camo. It is however quite a well worn camo and lots of white plastic showing through so... I thought I'd like to repaint it! Plain black. Nothing expensive as the guns only worth 150 quid. Has anyone done so, what did you use, did it wear well? I'm thinking of Plasticote but have no experience with it
  12. Do you guys not think that if lead was banned, the non steel alternatives would be produced and brought on much more quickly, bringing down price and improving the products? Surely at the moment things like Tungsten are only so expensive because there isn't a mass market and therefore mass production?
  13. Although the amount of flak you are subjected to at times beggars belief! Much kudos to you for sticking at it!
  14. Goose carrier? Nah, I haven't got the foggiest either!
  15. It is brilliant news and full congratulations to Amber Hill. I find it amazing though that there was not even a mention of our 22 time World championship winning MBE in the 'senior' event.
  16. INNNNNNN-correct...again! Mine's only jammed twice in 2 years, and I put that down to picking cartridges up off the mud and loading them.
  17. Trouble is, their intelligence makes them even more of a nuisance/threat, especially around lambing.
  18. Whenever he posts he has another agenda. ANYBODY who has spent any amount of time on PW should realise that. It is for this reason alone that Gunsmoke is less well tolerated than many others by some of the more established members.
  19. When lead gets banned, the time, money and effort needed to produce alternatives will be spent. Lead free ammo/cartridges will be mass produced bringing it down in price and world order will be restored. Bullet heads will become an alloy, possibly even along the lines of where they went with plumbers lead (a tin/antimony alloy). It will be resolved if there is a will to do so.
  20. Where I live, if you were that rude to a mans wife who you didn't even know, you'd be on your **** faster than you could apologise. Maybe that's the way things are in the land of the rising smog, but I wouldn't have cracked a smile, maybe be worth considering next time. That said it was obviously (retrospectively) said in jest so hopefully no offence taken.
  21. Well that solves that particular little conundrum for me.
  22. How do you find them? My lad was shooting with some today which looked punchy, tried a couple and they certainly kick harder than the RC2's I was using.
  23. Bloody nigh on impossible I'd say!
  24. Are they really 25% better than RC2's or similar, because that's the cost difference?
